40 Times People Saw Entitled Jerks And Just Had To Share Screenshots On This Online Community
Ah, undeserved entitlement. It’s that thing that makes your first impression of a person go sour in a matter of moments because of how obnoxious, arrogant, and in-your-face high-and-mighty they’re acting. Greedy, needy, and unabashed, the entitled can be found everywhere—you just need to keep an eye out for those who believe they’re at the center of the known universe.
There’s an online community that’s entirely dedicated to shaming entitled people, and it’s a heck of a ride. We’ve compiled some of the subreddit’s best posts to show you the insane levels of entitlement some folks can reach, and it’s making our eyebrows rise high enough to merge with our hairlines.
Scroll down, upvote your fave pics, and be sure to let us know in the comments what the most entitled people that you’ve ever seen have done. Got any tips on how to deal with the ultra-entitled? Let us know as well.

It's Really Not That Hard...
With over 284k members, the subreddit is doing very well for a community that is just over a couple of years old. The subreddit’s moderators want to show the internet what others’ experiences with people who “always get their own way and are better than everyone” have been like.
However, just because a person’s entitled, it doesn’t mean that they deserve getting hate online. For this reason, the subreddit forbids including any information that could make it possible to identify the people connected to any posts. From names and phone numbers to addresses and locations, it’s best to keep those things private. People change, after all, and you never know if somebody who was narcissistic yesterday might have turned into a Good Samaritan today.

Entitled Woman Knows The Owner
According to ‘Better Help,’ a sense of entitlement is considered to be a personality trait where a person believes that they deserve privileges or recognition that they didn’t earn. One way that a person can become entitled is growing up in a household where they don’t learn how to earn rewards which makes them expect them for nothing when they grow up.
In short, entitled people make life all about them: everything has to benefit them, everything is about them, and they believe they’re superior to everyone else. That means that the entitled rarely compromise with others, they lack empathy, and they get frustrated when the world doesn’t rush to fulfill their every whim.

While it’s obvious that entitled folks have a strong desire to be at the center of attention, some of them do this through self-pity and playing the victim. Though they might seem extremely confident on the surface, some of them have a lot of insecurities that they’re working through.
In fact, research shows that entitled people can end up hurting not just those around them, but also themselves because they have unrealistic expectations which can’t be met sometimes.

There Were Karens Back Then Too
People don't realise you can hate them for something so small... to a child, it isn't that small of an issue
It wouldn't be a small issue to me as an adult! There's nothing they've done wrong, no cheating, nothing. It was just pure coincidence/luck and that's what they got from telling the truth. I wonder what experience in her life made her so dismissive.
Load More Replies...And that's how a this girl started to lie, since being honest took the prize away from her.
Your prize was learning that there are garbage people you'll have to interact with during your lifetime. Congratulations!
dang....i have a story similar. when i was in preschool, people who helped (clean up) extra got a tattoo at the end of the week, so i decided i was gonna work really hard to get my dora tattoo. by the end of the week, i had worked enough to get my tattoo. the teacher was getting a washcloth to put it on, while i was just sitting there. (i was holding the tattoo, cuz i chose it from the prize box) so she put it on my arm and we were just waiting. but it started to look kinda weird, so she pulled it off, and apparently the plastic was still on. she started yelling at me cuz i didn't pull it off...she never told me too...and i didnt even know you had too. long story short i never got my dora tattoo :(
Oh man... you didn't get to go pick out another one??? WTF treats a little preschooler like that? I totally want to send you ALL of the Dora tattoos right now.
Load More Replies...wow that's what honesty gets you not a good example for children would have took back regular pencil gave special pencil to child and two gifts for being honest
This reminds me of my own salty elementary school story. I got a diary with a lock for my 6th birthday. I brought it on a school field trip to show my friends my new gift.. A parent chaperone decided to confiscate my diary, for no reason but to purely be nosey, and because I left the key at home, and it was locked this bitch took it upon herself to break the lock, just so she could read my first entry, “Dear Diary, I got this diary for my birthday”. I still have the diary, and it’s lock is still broken.
When I was little I used to go with my dad to work, he was a plumber so we’d go to different houses. One time this house we were at had some peacocks and my dad found some tail feathers, I loved them. I had them on a pin board in my bedroom. One day at school we must have had to take something’s in for display and I took my peacock feathers. A few months past and the display was taken down but I never got my feathers, when I eventually asked my teacher for them she told me that they weren’t mine and that they were hers that she’d brought in 😡 wtf this still pisses me off, I was about 10! She stole my feathers 😂🤦🏻♀️
Nasty mean people should not be allowed to work anywhere near children!
It was a lesson they were trying to teach you since you failed. The lesson was that you should have lied about getting 2 pencils and simply showed the special one. Intentional or not, that's what they teach kids.
Somewhat similar story: I had a special small rainbow eraser given to me in kindergarten after I learn all my rainbow words. Then in the 1st grade, I let a boy borrow it but then he wouldn't give it back. I told the teacher and instead of her telling them to give back what was mine, she ripped the eraser in half and gave us a half. I was so upset and I started crying because it was mine and I really loved the teacher who gave it to me. Still upset and salty about it when I think about it.
I was really in to basketball, and the boys were playing so I asked to play. They turned me down because the teams woupd be 'uneven.' The one I asked proceeded to ask one of his friends if he wanted to play, whilst I was watching. I confronted him about it, and he simply walked away. Im still very salty about it
She could have at least lied and said the second pencil was the prize, and give her a sticker.

next time that lady uses a ATM shell get an extra $1000 and not be able to add it to her account
Boy am I pissed off. That kinda of action stays with you forever. I would love to find that witch and tell her I want my f—king pencil back with the prize.
A really bitter one who hates children and shouldn't be allowed near them.
But if you can't let go of it in all that time, you need some serious help
So much for being honest. What a horrible lesson to teach a child.
Omg we had these I’m middle school except it was a pencil with the American flag that got you the prize. The crazy thing is one day a friend noticed that the paint was rubbing off his decorated pencil and under the paint was the american flag paint. This started a craze where everyone bought pencils and around 50% of them had the American flag print under their decoration. So many kids got prizes before a teacher saw a student working on a pencil to take the paint off. From then on there were no more prizes. This was right after desert storm so I have a feeling the pencil company had way to many American flag pencils and did this to save money. That was a fun few weeks in 7th grade.
It's amazing how many nasty, shrivel-hearted people were employed in our schools in the past. It appeared to be that the only qualification needed was a hatred of children!! Do hope it's a lot different now.
I’ve never gone to a school, at any level of education, where the office workers weren’t ALL lazy, gossipy, miserable bitches. If you showed up while they were talking/gossiping/complaining, they’d give you the stink-eye, as if you’d interrupted them from what they were being paid to do.
And like what happened to you as a result of not getting the special pencil prize. Become a crack addict from the depression? Fear of pencils? Or did your life continue relatively normally? Gotta know, the suspense is stabing me like a pencil!
I remember injustices from elementary school, too. Only I'm over 70! :-) I think that these kinds of things keeps us more empathetic and kind as adults.
I would have given you a prize for honesty even if both pencils were plain ole pencils.
Office lady was just being a b&$#h, because she could. People who don't like kids should not work with them. I wouldn't still be pissed off about it- just a little grumpy about it when I remembered it at times, lol
My sister was in kindergarten and it was her birthday. She got a big birthday cake with a cute figure in the middle. The kindergarten teacher who cuts the cake gives the piece of the cake with the figure to her own daughter who was in the same class as my sister. My sister then got a normal piece like all the others. On her birthday and the the teachers child had the special piece. My sister is almost 40 years later still sad about that.
lol why tell the office lady that you got two ? I would have just taken in the star pencil on its own ...
Really, Bored Panda? You call people entitled because they tell a childhood memory and recall how hurt they were and still feel bitter?! So unfair.
Okay, this lady (the secretary) literally A) Broke a kid's heart B) Deprived a kid of something that she/he won C) Assumed that the special pencil was the extra (what if it hadn't been?) Really, Pantea? So you assumed that the storyteller was the entitled one? Really?
Load More Replies...I'm looking a this a different way, If this is your most exemplified bit of unfairness that still makes you pissed 19 years later... you are very, very fortunate in life.
The secretary literally just deprived a kid of a prize that they won. I wouldn't be pissed, I would've been LIVID.
Load More Replies...getting 2 pencils accidentally and turning them in is gambling?
Load More Replies...Go back to school. Maybe you'll grow some brain cells so that you have more than 2 to rub together.

Eb At A Restaurant
I'm so sick of "influencers" and such trying to get free crap. We have def gone wrong as a society to make people believe that this type of behavior is appropriate. I hope the restaurant owner replied back that they were glad she enjoyed the food and that she didn't need her influencers. Why do people not get that business run on money- the income they make from whatever they sale or produce? Ridiculous. Perhaps I should get off bored panda at 4 am because I have no filter to not comment on such crap.

I pulled up and parked in a handicap accessible spot in front of the hospital (I had a legal permit) and got out the car. This man pulled his car behind mine and started calling me some of the most vile names I have ever heard in my entire life. I just looked at him, walked around the car, got Mom's walker out of the backseat and then opened her door to help her out. The guy's face went ashen and he sped away. Imagine his surprise when he got on the elevator with us.

Quite The Way To Put It
Around 550 ce, Yüwen Tai (in northern China) had lost an extremely important battle to the Ch'i and was on the run. He was captured. Yüwen told his captor, "If you capture me, you'll be out of work. Why don't you go take the gold in my tent?" Yüwen was released, and his grandson eventually destroyed the Ch'i.

Once I was on a plane, almost empty, and I'm trying to lie down, because the seets next to me were empty. So I'm getting comfotable( And I'm a 5 year old) and this Karen taps on my shoulder, shakes her head at me, and says" You're disturbing the other passangers" I just nod, but I'm thinking, What other people? There is literally 3 other 8 people on this whole plane!( I don't have pictures)
Posts like this just get me so riled up. People being so stupid and ignorant is the last thing I want to deal with. No anger to the writer, of course! Only to the idiotic people in this thread. I can't understand how people can have such a lack of compassion and empathy or understanding for other human beings, truly. To calm down I will now listen to girl in red for a bit :P
just the right balance that it doesn't make me mad enough to hate the thread but also keeps me entertained, rather than miffed.
None of these actually happened. Attention-seeking people making this stuff-up has got to be the saddest thing to come out of the internet.
Prior to Covid I traveled the country working autoshows. A few years back I'm working the Pittsburgh. Got off work, ordered Chinese takeout from a hole in the wall. Placed my order, and then sat in the lobby staring at my phone. A white family comes in. Out of courtesy, I acknowledge them by head nodding like how black dudes greeting in passing. A few seconds goes by and the dad impatiently asks, "So are you going to seat us or what?" Mind you, I'm wearing a full suit with a magnetic name badge that clearly says my name and Ford Motor Company. This is where the story could've ended but I decided to be a d**k. So I got up, grabbed some menus, and sat them. Promptly sat my ass back down. Dad blurts out he's ready to order. When he asks why I'm not writing anything down, I reassured him I memorized everything...only to sit right back in the lobby. Dad is livid. Confronts me. Owner overhears commotion, brings out my food. Stare family dead in the eyes, point to my name badge, & strut out. Nick-Auto-...8ddb9e.jpg
“I don’t work here” is all you had to say. Why be an ass about it?
