Its actually neater than this as there is an old park that is beside the building that is held in trust between Canada and Japan and its agreed to never build on the land. The roof also has an amazing micro representation of Canada in a rock garden water installation. Its a fantastic building.

The American Embassy in Dublin is a horror. They call it the Doughnut, which is a painfully accurate description.
How are these “embarrassing”? They range from boring to utterly gorgeous.
Was that the previous title? It now says they're amazing, and I must strongly disagree with that on many of them. Or did you misread "embassy"? :D
Load More Replies...There are so many beautiful American Embassies around the world. I've been to many of them. The one in Paris is the first one, and it's quite pretty. It is, however, illegal to photograph American Embassies for tourism sake.
Not true. They cannot prevent anyone from taking a photo of a building from the street.
