A team from the MIT Media Lab has unveiled the Smart DuoSkin Tattoo project of temporary tattoos for creating tangible interfaces directly to the skin. These DuoSkin Smart Tattoos come in three families: Touch interface, display and wireless communication. These connected tattoos combine sheets of conductive metal, LEDs and NFC chips, for controlling objects, displaying notifications or communicate with smartphones. The Smart DuoSkin Tattoo project was conducted in collaboration with Microsoft Research.
