The Brandphabet: A Real Photography Project Using The Original Brand Typography
The Brandphabet is my new real photography project for the 36daysoftype annual event, where creatives around the world create their vision about the alphabet.
In this case, I wanted to make an alphabet known to everyone, for that reason I used brands as recognizable as Apple, Barbie, Campbell's... using their original typography.
It has been a very difficult challenge because everything is handmade, there are no 3d renders.
I had to find the right materials to make all the letters and I had to give that feeling of volume and density to make it look real. I have used polystyrene, textiles, paint, slime, toys, clay, cotton candy...
It has also been difficult to find brands that fit my Pop Art vision, because not all brands worked for my colorful style, such as Intel, Samsung or similar.
In short, the alphabet has been very Pop!
