Yup. Would prefer to buy the pattern to the gloves. I would say that you need to have done a little crochet before attempting these - from experience as I was a newbie only 2 years ago!

Over opininarionated is right. At least you're aware of it. No, this is not beginner crochet. And for the intermediate to expert crocheter, it's still a talent to achieve those results. She or he has excellent color schematics going, it's quite good and it's unique. I don't quite have that knack for color combinations. So, good on them. They're taking their talent and making it worth something. Why not appreciate that instead of trying to take them down a notch.

Oh didn't notice the edge till now I love picots they are a nice touch (single crochet chain 3 slip stitch (or single crochet) into the top of the complete single crochet :-)

The pattern you linked may have some of the same stitches, but they are NOT the same as the gloves featured above.

Hi Bonita, While your pattern is beautiful, it's significantly different than these.

She probably has a huge back order due to all of the publicity! Try another Etsy store :) There are many who use "bonitapatterns". The colours will be different because she's from Latvia and you can't get all types of yarn in stores.

I found a similar pattern on etsy. Just search Dragon Scale Gloves.

I also bought the Bonita Patterns one and absolutely love it !

You can get a comparable pattern on etsy for under $5. Search 'Dragon scale gloves' should work.

These are not Bonita's pattern. Bonita's is significantly different.
