Guy Issues A Challenge To TikTok To Find Their Doppelgangers And Here Are 22 Of The Most Uncanny Resemblances
People love to hate on TikTok, one of the more recent additions to the video social media craze of today. The dislike of the website comes from the fact that the majority of the content found on it is considered empty and meaningless, with various challenges taking the top.
However, even though there are a slew of TikTok challenges already out there that are raising eyebrows for all the wrong reasons, every once in a while, you get a challenge that is interesting, fun, and encourages being social, justifying the very definition of the medium.
A TikTok user by the nickname of swole_dds has issued a challenge to the internet, asking people to make a video of themselves in search of their doppelganger, and once they have found them, to mash the two videos into one, showing off the comparison of the uncanny resemblance.
The challenge was based on the idea that there are at least five people in the world that look exactly like you, and since there are around 500 million TikTok users, there are bound to be some lookalikes out there. And there were.
Bored Panda has gathered some of the best doppelgangers to form a list that you can check out below. And while you’re there, why not vote for the best ones and leave your thoughts!

Much more alike...nose shape, distance between brows and thickness of brows as well.
I would say that the hair shape looks roughly the same, i wonder how long it takes these people to find someone who looks exactly like them 😂
This is a good one. I thought they were the same until I saw the differences in the nose and teeth.
There are approximately 7 million bald white guys with brown beards in the world.
They say it is the same but it is not the same. They could be twins.
Dude on the right looks like he's the guy from Too Hot to Handle on Netflix (I couldn't get through the first episode)
To the person out there in the world who looks like me - I'm sorry :(
I used to say the same whenever doppelganger was mentioned as I was literally the least popular girl in any setting, school, parties, clubs etc, hardly got any attention unless it was to be made fun of. In my 30s I've moved abroad, that was before social media as we know it but we keep in touch via AIM and email. Suddenly friends that knew me in person started asking when I had "the photoshoot" done and I'm like wtf you're on about and they thought I was being sarcastic. I was really baffled. Then my parents sent me a parcel for Xmas, and within it a bag from a VERY famous national fashion brand and the model featured on it was my doppenganger, only difference is that she was about 10 years younger and green eyed (mine are brown). Everyone that knew me swore it was me + photoshop! Luckily I was old enough to just laugh it off that if I had green eyes I'd be a model but if it was in my teen years that'd absolutely devastate me!

I am something like a super face recognizer. whenever I see people, paying a little attention to them, I can match them all, with someone else I've seen before, not the whole face, but if the same shape of nose and mouth, the same shape of eyes and eyebrows, the face shape, even teeth and gums, like a puzzle, I firmly believe that there are not infinite shapes, there are a few thousand maybe that combine differently to look unique.
So many of these were the same person in both pictures that I lost interest.
Jo Choto: I totally agree. I was not impressed with this BPanda offering and usually I love them.

Doppelgangers have been around forever -- today's easy 'net access and social media have made the search easier. I graduated from college in 1968, a rare female physics major -- won't bore you with sh!t I had to put up with. 5 years later (1973), completed my MSEng, was working and pushing my employer to increase computer use (huge mainframes), along with 2 colleagues. Our viewpoint was not popular. I was also volunteering in a program to get more women and minorities interested in STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Math) careers. I ordered brochures -- careers in physics for women -- from some Federal agency. When I opened the package of brochures, my "twin" was on the cover -- right down to the hair style. I never tried to track down the model. Doppelganger searching was not really a thing in 1973.
So many of these are hard to believe...they look like the same person done up to appear a little different!
tbh... i think that instead of focusing on how they DONT look alike in some of them, everyone should try to focus on that most of them actually do. ive literally never ever met anyone who lookes the slightest bit like me, so i personally think its pretty cool that a lot of the people look really similar
I would like to say to all my doppelgängers: don't worry, looks aren't that important.
I can't imagine how many more doppelgangers there would be if they just instructed everyone to wear, say, a white tee shirt and look at the camera straight on. So many of these are even down to the smallest details.
Number 9 looks like the same person from the hairline to the scars on her forehead. If not, her family may want to contact the hospital where she was born because she has an IDENTICAL mirror image twin running around.
