My 34 Photos Of Dogs That I Wanted To Share To Cheer You Up During These Hard Times
I am a dog lover first and dog photographer second, living in Barcelona, Spain. During the last week, the city and country I live in have been on lockdown. We are sitting at home, waiting, and doing our best to help this virus from spreading further.
I think all dog owners around the world at the moment can agree that our adorable dogs are an incredible source of strength for us now. They are a company, they are joy, they are love. Funny, messy, jumpy, fluffy, goofy, unconditional love. Our beautiful dogs keep up our routine and without even knowing they help us tremendously in getting through this. And they make us smile, every single day.
It's time to pay tribute to them... Here is a selection of cute dogs that came to see me in my photo studio in the last months. Each of the dogs in these pet portraits is unique, special, and a real hero. And now go, and give your dog a kiss, a treat and let them know they are your favorite superhero. I once knew someone who could do that. A human I mean. I was incredibly impressed by it, but never mastered the skill myself. I was 6 years old at the time. I also admired one of my older brother’s ability to play his armpit. He was truly talented. A year later though, I mastered burping my name and the alphabet. And as a teenager, I did manage to train my right eyebrow to raise by itself (usually they both raise at the same time). So, you know, I’ve got that going for me.
