This Dog Waits For His Girl After School Every Day

One day while driving home after school, 17-year-old Elisa Lee saw a nose of a doggie outside his house – fast forward to now, the two became friends with Lee patting the doggie every day. “At first I was afraid that he would bite me, since most dogs would bark at you and seem aggressive if you came near their house,” the student told BuzzFeed. But he didn’t.

“The first time I pet him he was so excited and started licking my hand and pawing at it,” she said. This became their daily ritual after Lee’s school: she has to come to pet the canine over and over again.

“Sometimes he’s not there, probably chewing on a toy or laying in the grass, but if I call his name he is sure to come to the little spot on the right side of the gate where he can see me better,” she said. “Most of the time, by the time I walk to the spot, he waits there for me to pet him before I leave.”

Lee met his owner and the old man revealed the doggie’s name was Ralph. Now the dog is addicted to Lee’s pats: “A lot of the time he looks so sad when I leave and tell him bye, but I tell him I will be there the following day or so on.”

Dogs are such wonderful, and loving, children. My Charlie is a Lowes Junkie, and I take him with me every time I go to get building material, just so he can greet and love the customers. He sits in the shopping cart(limo) jump seat, and wags his tail at everyone he sees. He's made hundreds of friends there, and can never get enough.

Dogs get very lonely and stressed out when they are locked up alone. I hope you've been able to help him with his anxiety.

Awwww. I wish there was a dog or cat waiting for me on my way to/from work. I'd so be stopping there for a long petting session.
