Our purpose is to promote talented dog photographers all over the world thanks to our worldwide known and experienced judges specialized in dog photography.

There were four categories for the 2022 Dog Photography Awards: Portrait & Landscape, Studio, Action and Dogs & People. Judges worked hard to select the first, second, and third-place photos from each category. This year’s winners are some of the most beautiful dog images you’ll ever see.

Our criteria for choosing the winners were the following for this 2022 edition: a dog's body language refers to the expression of the dog and its posture. Settings refer to the sharpness of the subject, the overall exposure and the lightning used for studio images. Composition is about colors, light, layers, story and overall impact of the image. Artistic choices are related to the chosen idea and its execution, its difficulty of realization and its rarity. Editing refers to the final look of the image and the techniques that seem to be used. We can detect problems in the editing such as masks, color banding, unrealistic flares, overlays, etc.
