Bristol-based photographer Peter Thorpe has a great little tradition that he started 20 years ago. For his annual holiday card, he transforms Raggle, his dog, into various animals. He started this tradition with Paddy, and now continues with Raggle.
Other photographers would often turn to Photoshop, but Peter uses real props instead. When the photos are finished, he sends these cards to his family, friends and clients.
Sadly, this awesome tradition is coming to an end as Raggle is growing older and weaker every day. This year’s card is going to be the last one before her retirement.

Load More Replies...Truth hurts? Turkeys are loving animals and they like to be petted and scratched, like almost all other animals. They all deserve to live!!
Load More Replies...very interesting, nothing is betther than this liable friend, cheers
LOVE!!!! So sorry this is your last year -- enjoy your retirement Raggle -- you deserve it -- GOOD DOG!
Love this. Love the guy who was not only clever but took so much time to put a smile on people's faces! These photos are terrific!
The cooperation is incredible, such a wonderful patient dog I`ve never seen
It's adorable and he's not hurting the dog at all. People that claim it's animal cruelty, get a life!!!
Thank you for sharing. Be well little doggy ...looks like you've been very loved and had a great life.
There are 19 of his cards featuring Raggle and Paddy, the dog before him, at http://www.ifitshipitshere.com/christmas-dogs-by-peter-thorpe/
Ha ha ha!!! Beautiful and he had a lot of patience!!! I'm talking about the dog.
I think this dog must love & trust his/her owner very much to allow this. Love every pic. Thanks
What a great tradition! I laughed so hard at some of these. Truly brilliant works of love :)
What a good and patient pooch. It's heart wrenching when they get old and frail.
Very clever. I loved All of them . Thanks so much for sharing and spreading happiness, especially at this time of year.
Cool pictures, but the name is Ebenezer Scrooge, not Bah Humbug..
thanks for sharing your cards, your pup loves you and both have created your little masterpieces.... cherish all is time always goes by
this years is the best I think..they are all cute.....your dog loves you so
What an adorable relationship they must have&such a brilliant way to photograph the memories!
I love this you are full of Joy and your dog is adorable (patient) I have had such a laugh. Thankyou
I think this article has nothing to do with eating turkeys.......its dog pictures and a creative owner.
The only one that I don't like is the turkey caracter. It is time to start respecting all animal species. That's evolution.
What a precious pup! He obviously loves the attention. Is he a rescue? Thanks for sharing!
Folks, lets not get serious about these pictures. They are all done in good faith and good fun.
Very creative, LOVE Raggle, hope he/she has a lengthy retirement filled with love, happiness and tender loving care!!
as Curtis implied I am alarmed that anyone can get paid $8797 in 4 weeks on the computer . visit this website ---->www.Cash-Review.com<----
Some sweet pictures, but portraying the dog in the light of traditionally abused creatures who are cooked, tethered, or trapped is not cute.
