Do It Yourself projects allow people to reuse items lying around the house to create something cool instead of throwing them away. However, just because you can DIY anything, it doesn't mean you should. A subreddit with a pretty self-explanatory title (DiWHY) is collecting the worst DIY fails, and they are so dreadfully awful, you might feel like Leonardo Da Vinci after checking these bad ideas out.
Basically, these DIY ideas belong to one of the two groups: a) a DIY project is so bad, it shouldn't exist, to begin with; b) the execution turned out horribly wrong. From leaving a print of your baby's bottom on a bowl to preserving childhood toys like failed biological experiments, some people should really consult others about their latest DIY crafts. There was a show made by the great Takashi Miike called "MPD-Psycho" in which they found murder victims buried upright in the soil with plants planted in the exposed brains, this is awesomely similar :P

It reminds me of the Harry potter Herbology class, when they are planting mandrakes (re-potting into bigger pots).

That's actually kind of cool in a creepy kind of way. Like, good quality horror movie/game cool, one scaring you with atmosphere rather than screamers. But I'm not sure I'd want to see those daily.

On the positive side, I like this entire collection because it shows me people are still out using their brains, being creative, no-matter how bizarre and are willing to put it out there for us to see. It sure beats beating fake people and animals up on a screen all day. This shows at least some people are still trying to recycle and use their brains. Good Work to All who contributed .
