Russian Artist Reimagined 8 Disney Princes As Dads Of Adorable Toddlers And Babies (8 Pics)
In Disney's enchanted worlds, we meet various magical creatures, colorful kingdoms, and princesses… However, how many of us actually stop for a moment and think about the Princes that are also very much present in the stories they played a big part in?
Russian artist Oksana Pashchenko shows us a whole new world where Princes aren't forgotten as they take on their roles as the fathers of their children. Oksana's works portray the Disney Princes spending time with their beloved children, and the result is quite adorable if we might say so ourselves.
Pashchenko's works have been previously featured on Bored Panda, and if you'd like to see more, then click here, here, and here.

Oksana is a really big Disney fan, no doubt about that as most of her artwork is themed around the princesses and the villains of the franchise. Given all of that, it was only fair that the artist would also appreciate the said husbands of the princesses we all love and know. So Pashchenko went ahead and reimagined the princes as the fathers of their children! That’s right—you’d be amazed by the parenting chops some of these Disney dads possess!
Prince Adam
"Prince Adam reads to the baby. She loves books just like her mom."
Hercules
"Hercules with his daughter. I think she should be as pretty as her mom."
The artist did an amazing job portraying what kind of dads the princes would be, as they even partake in the hobbies of their children, and some of the dads even mirror the actions of their beloved kids. It's true that most of the Disney princesses didn't have good dads of their own but all of them got their happily ever after, so it would only make sense that their husbands would be the present figures in their children's lives.
Prince Phillip
"This is what happened when Sleeping Beauty asked her prince to sit with their daughter while she left on some business."
Prince Charming
"Prince Charming (Ferdinand/Florian) makes a pie with his daughter."
Taking all of this into consideration, we believe these new dads will become great fathers in the future! These guys are all great dads even right now, but we shouldn't forget that they will be helping to raise some of our new favorite upcoming Disney Princesses (hopefully), so kudos to THEM ALL!
Aladdin
"Aladdin tells son about his youthful adventures, flying on a carpet over the markets of Agraba."
Prince Eric
"Prince Eric is the next daddy-sitter. Of course, Melody's favorite pastime is bathing."
So Pandas, tell us which of the Disney Princes would make the best dad and why? It can entirely be your own opinion or just an opinion based on all of these beautiful illustrations drawn by Oksana! Let us know which picture was your favorite! And maybe... given the chance, share some of your own best memories with your dads?
Prince Li Shang
"Mulan and Shang's son is definitely a little fighter."
It's refreshing to see Dads (accurately) portrayed as being involved, nurturing, and caring.
hmmm, it is odd to see the Cauasian characters having daughters while Asian characters have sons.
This is BP... there is a quota that every week there must be a post about (1) reimagining Disney characters, (2) how different America is than the rest of the world, or (3) Toxic masculinity
Load More Replies..."Daddy-sitting" you mean being a goddamn parent? Jesus Christ people, fathers are just as much parents as mothers.
Every week more Disney. It's really old and tired. The stories about people making their OWN art and their OWN crafts are far more interesting. Less Disney on the front page, please!
Unfortunately, listicle websites like BoredPanda and Buzzfeed know that Disney fan-art is extremely popular and will generate quick clicks and likes. It's something familiar that people all over the world recognize. Thus, it will generally get promoted and pushed to the "front" page or "trending." I really miss the listicles where BoredPanda used to promote all different types of artwork from photography to traditional paper-cutting. Now, I see more and more rehashed "Reddit" articles about bad relationships and celebrities.that reminds me of Buzzfeed..kind of sad.
Load More Replies...So the babies become copies of their fathers or mothers, without own personality, and the fathers are babysitting their own children? Too many stereotypes for my taste.
