Artist Shows Which Popular Animated Characters Your Favorite Celebrities Should Be (30 Pics)
Illustrator Helen Morgun creates amazing and whimsical art of celebrities. She draws them as characters they should play or they did play at some point in their career. Her favorite thing to turn celebrities into is none other than Disney characters. You can see that she doesn't pick at random and usually thinks what would fit the celebrity best.
We can see how Maisie Williams would look if she played Coraline, Michael Ealy as Prince Naveen, Zoe Kravitz as Kida, and much more unexpected, but cool mash-ups. She has almost 87k followers on her Instagram and people seem to love what she does!

Emma Stone As Jessie From Toy Story
Scarlet Johansson As Anastasia
We got an interview with Helen and she shared with us what inspires her the most, how she got into art: "People inspire me. Interesting stories, films, songs that you want to listen to over and over again. I have been drawing since childhood. I have an art education and I think I always knew that I wanted to devote my life to drawing."
The illustrations take about 6-8 hours to complete according to Helen. But art is her career so she can spend as much time on it as she needs. She creates covers for books and does other various projects. The artist also shared that besides drawing, she loves to sing. But only her close friends and family know that.
Maisie Williams As Coraline
Coralline is super dark. But also a good and underrated movie
Helen mentioned in previous interviews on Bored Panda that she loves Disney and has many fond memories of the movies and characters. She started the series by drawing Rachel McAdams as Cinderella. Helen noticed that her followers really loved the idea, so she continued creating more portraits.
"My first work with Rachel McAdams as Cinderella was the beginning of this series. I always thought she was very suitable for this role. And then I decided not to stop and come up with which other celebrity is suitable for the role of a princess or an insidious villain."
Taylor Swift As Tinker Bell
i'm sorry, the old tinker can't come to the phone right now...
Emma Watson As Anna
Helen often decides what to draw next by creating polls on her Instagram and letting her fans vote. So if you want to help decide what she creates next, go follow her and maybe your idea will become a reality: "I like to choose with my followers a candidate for a new character. And in creating a portrait, I like to come up with interesting details and references to the character."
You can also buy commissions from her, so if you like Helen's style and want you and your loved one drawn as characters, you know where to go.
Zendaya As Lilo
Helen tells us more about herself, her life, how she got to where she is now: "After graduation, I became a freelancer. I drew characters for games, comics, did a little web design. But portraits have always been my passion. After the birth of my son, I did not draw for almost two years, but then I returned to work. During this period, I began to develop my Instagram account. Today I am very happy with this decision, because I found many creative friends on this platform and received a good response to my work, and for an artist, this is the best motivation."
Zoe Kravitz As Kida
I absolutely love that movie! One of the most underrated Disney movies ever!
"I choose two candidates for each character. Then my subscribers choose from them the one they like best. Very rarely I choose at my own discretion, it happens when I know for sure that the type match is 100%.
Then I paint a portrait and add different details: clothes, pets, makeup, or jewelry worn by the character in the cartoons. Sometimes I add thematic tattoos," said Helen when asked to describe the process of creating these illustrations.
Lily Collins As Snow White
Helena Bonham Carter As Yzma
I mean, she'd do the character great in terms of mannerisms (I can hear her in my head screaming "PULL THE LEVER!") , but Helena is such a beauty... yzma however...
"I am very grateful for the interest in my work. Thanks to the previous articles, many people learned about me and my art, I got new subscribers and customers. Now I am drawing a series of works with Disney princesses, however, I want to supplement the series with villains, so if you are in love with Disney as much as I am will be glad to see you on my Instagram page"

Most of these are really well done and I admire the details and rendition of fabrics, but I think the page title is misleading as many of these are characters the actors already played rather than "animated characters" they could portray.
Nah... They're not all bad but most of them have awkward proportions and there's no "flow", more like colouring book illustrations.
