Load More Replies...Because it is. If you understood the complexity it took to actually use these tools maybe you'd be less dense. But you want to be mad because you heard you should be. Maybe if you did just the tiniest amount of non biased research you would actually understand. But no. Here you are on bored panda, mad because you're uniformed and love it
This is NOT art. These AIs steal art from artists and blend it into a "new image". Stop promoting art theft ffs
they're fun, until you realize what fuels AI. AI has cool potential, but not while it's currently just pirating real artists who get no credit, to recreate its own (for profit)
Load More Replies...They're fun because they're art. What you're saying is that if I draw something with inspiration from another piece of media then I'm plagiarizing. It's not stealing you just want to be mad
No dude you're just dumb. Like you actually don't get it. Anyone who says its plagiarized is actually just looking for an excuse. Even if so, humans rip each other off all the time. Do you complain? No. You're just conceded because a robot can draw better than your dog water third grade crayon style
They are fun. Anyone saying otherwise is wrong and refuse to do any research. AI is really cool and actually useful for so much. Don't listen to the whiners. It's not stealing at all. It's just as complex and justified as any other art medium. It deserves just as much respect as any other as well
Stop promoting this as 'artist'. It's false. These are AI generated off of text prompts. No artistic skill was employed except by the Human artists the AI stole from in order to 'learn' how to copy and paste in context
before you comment about how "cute" they are, just remember that they were not drawn by an artist. rather, they're a b*stardization of countless artists' works stolen without consent nor knowledge. AI "art" should not be promoted over the artwork created by humans. AI cannot put love into images and honestly, it's no longer even cool or interesting.
Explain to me where is the creativity with an AI ? This is not the work of an artist but just a guy writing a sentence in an AI engine.
Just having a little fun. Everything need not be so dead serious.

Some book publishers have already taken the plunge to illustrate the covers of their books using these AIs (at least in France) instead of calling on illustrators whose job it is, so yes, that puts a whole profession in danger and and I personally find it very worrying that we entrust our creativity to AI. Then we can hope it's just a fad, but unfortunately I'm afraid not, please look beyond the cute kitten.
I'm so sorry. I suppose you can tell that I'm just an elderly cat lady. I meant no offense.
Forgot all the live-action remakes. If theaters want my business they'd better start casting cats in every movie. ( These cats, not the horrible ones in the musical film "Cats.")
I find it fascinating yet oddly disturbing that the AI program gave most of these kitty creations a gazillion toes.
would love this if this wasn't considered 'art', or if someone actually drew these :(
because they know they're the result of loveless art theft

There's literally people disliking anyone having fun in the comments. Just because They don't understand how AI art works and are angry because of it. They spread that hate like a disease. When it's actually not even warranted. AI art is just as complex and skill based as any other art. But the Internet told them that they should be mad at it because it steals and it's just words. No it doesn't steal. If that was the case then you making something with inspiration from something else is stealing. Yes it's words, with so many modifiers and codes that you couldn't even imagine. It's like a whole new language. Don't give in to the hate. AI art is art, no matter how misinformed some may be. And no matter how much Internet Karen wants to cry about it
The kitties 😸 all have the same facial expression while the characters all have different onees.
