I am going to dieeee it is soooo cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I neeed 100000000000 of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mr. Yee Chong gave Bored Panda an exclusive interview about his digital art. He started off working as a graphic designer, but he quit after 5 years due to a meager salary and he switched to freelance work, like this one. The artist admitted that this fantasy creatures project came spontaneously, and initially, he meant it as a simple experiment. "It was meant to be a test on my understanding of light and shadow, but people seem to like these mythical animals a lot so I continued 'till now," - he said. The Malaysian artist revealed that he’s pretty surprised about the community’s response and feels very flattered. The fact “that people like them motivates me to produce more”.
When asked whether he feels any attachment to his cute creatures, Yee Chong confessed that he lives alone in an apartment where there’s a no-pet policy, and the adorable animals give him much-needed comfort. When pressed if he’ll continue doing them, the artist gave a promise: “I will keep producing them as long as it brightens people's days or cheers people up.” And we suggest you keep your eyes out for this artist, as he’s planning on animating them in the future! In any case, check out more of his beautiful drawings on Instagram and other links if you haven’t, and enjoy the show.
The artist offers a great diversity of situations, characters, attitudes, and colors. As you’ll find out, the cute little red fox often is the main protagonist of the image. The unique artworks show the cute critters in their ”everyday“ situations (as if anything that includes these cuties could be called an ”everyday“ scenario). Their stylized animated look gives them a range of emotions in these scenarios that are heart-wrenching to watch. Just look at how adorable their faces are. D’aww…
These lifelike situations range from reactions to food, a casual dive into the trash bin, playing with stuff and exploring, letting themselves be snuggled by their owner, to ending up in a shape that fits only them exclusively. The artist illustrated them doing pretty much anything you’d imagine a normal pet would do, and even more. In short, this digital artist’s pets are as lively as any real animal.

Stuffed animals in the future to look like these real creatures? Sadly, breeders have lost all regard for quality of life and are trying to create animals close to being as precious as these, not caring about the fact they can't breath well, can't move without pain and can't reproduce or deliver naturally. I'll stick with these!
