“Día de Muertos ” – Day of the dead – The multi-day holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died, and help support their spiritual journey.
This time I wanted to create series about love, beauty, suffering, pain, life journey, loss and death. I thought that Frida Kahlo describes it all.
“Life and death are not opposed but intertwined in movement, in the earth and the heaven, in the rawness and the beauty, in the contrasting and in the common. In that vulnerable land without borders is where we have to appear. And dissappear.”
