This year Sao Paulo had the privilege of holding the huge David Bowie exhibition at the Museu da Imagem e do Som (MIS – Museum of Image and Sound) produced and organized by London’s Victoria and Albert Museum, one of the most renowned institutions in the world.
In this retrospective of his career, visitors could find tons of references such as costumes, song lyrics, manuscripts, musical instruments, drawings, paintings, set displays and the creative processes from his teenage years until nowadays. In order to work out brilliantly it was especially adapted for Museum of Image and Sound’s area.
The show was photographed using analogue cameras and multiple exposures straight on 35mm film which means to leave a gap at random to achieve an unusual and unpredictable aesthetics.
