I'm 51, and was never able to have children....but if I had been able to, I would have hoped and wished and "prayed" for a little one as smart and clever as this little girl is! There would have been no way I could have said "No" to her request, that she wished I would 'please consider.' My god, at this rate, this smart daughter should have two cats, not just one! I'm sold!

Worked out, hm? Great, that! Cats are great - they demand their rights on their own, they chose the best humans of those available to enslave the furthest, which usually pays off well ... people who lived with animals in the childhood, to me, seem more reasonable, more capable of seeing stuff through other one's eyes, more gentle, ... and, of course, an adopted cat in a loving home is a happy cat, and making one cat happy who wasn't before makes this world better.

Where I live, the shelter won't adopt out black animals (cats or dogs) for the whole month of October. It's b/c there are incidents of people killing them for being bad luck, for "pranks" on Halloween, and worse. (Is there worse? Yeah. Target practice. One animal was *spiked to a beam while alive* about 15 years ago... For being a black cat.) Soooo..... SAVE THE BLACK CATS!!!

My friend has a daughter who they have told for years that if she makes straight A's they would get her a rabbit. One day the daughter says to her mom, "I got straight A's now for 5 years and I still don't have a rabbit. If we don't go get a rabbit this weekend then these will be the last A's you ever see." My friend was on a business trip so the mother took her out and they got some rabbits...then some more...and another. My friend initially freaked out, threw a fit, bitched up a storm. Now his Facebook is full of rabbits and he hangs out in his garage (new home office since COVID) and has four rabbits on his lap. Watches football with them, spends his entire day with them, and researches different kinds and breeds them. He is the rabbit man. The rabbits are his life. His wife told me "I think he loves them more than he love us at this point, but at least he finally stopped bitching and our daughter is still on the honor roll."

Her parents should get her 2 cats!!

When I was 8 I told my Mom I had wished all white cats existed. She looked at me, with a little disappointment in her eyes for I was far too old to not know they, in fact, did, and told me they were a thing. Fast forward to a week later. I walk in the door after school to find my sister jumping around excitedly, speaking incoherently. There, behind her, was an all white, tiny kitten. My mom said she found the last one in all of the metro area. We named her Misty. She was a star and beloved family jewel. She lived to be 21 years old. We only just lost her a few years ago. Today, I have two white beauties of my own. I guess I've never quite gotten over their magic and wonder! So glad that little girl will get her kitty!

We took in two foster newborn kittens in May that were found in a landfill. They’re now our trash kittens 😊

I tried this once. It failed miserably. I do have a cat though but at my Dad’s house. I wanted one at my Mom’s.

The post details are vague. Maybe I missed it but they don't state how old the girl is so she may not be young at all. The level of PowerPoint presentation isn't of a little child. I think it's either fake or the girl who made it is not young at all

I promise to feed it, give it water and clean the litter box. Three months later, dad is feeding, watering and cleaning the litter box. anywho, cats are awesome pets.

Being an owner of 9 cats let's face some real facts. The child will not clean the litter box so get an automatic litter box. Also get an auto feeder and a pet fountain they are the best. Make sure to get a cozy cat bed and a scratching post. Please spay and neuter what ever cat you do get. Oh and you ARE getting her a cat or the internet trolls will find out where you live and post it online and every single cat lover will drop off one kitten each to ensure she gets all the kitty live possible.
