47 Comics People With Dark Humor Will Probably Enjoy By Good Bear Comics (New Pics)
Dark humor is not for everyone, but a lot of people enjoy it a lot. There are a lot of comics artists that base their stories on that type of humor. But not all of them do it as well as Good Bear Comics or James. This comics creator uses dark humor perfectly, his comics have unexpected twists and you never know what you're going to get. James' style is very colorful and bright, and he often illustrates famous characters like the clown from IT and Batman in all kinds of silly and weird situations.
The artist told Bored Panda: "I’ve been into art and funny comics my whole life, so I suppose it’s natural that it’s something I would try to do. I used to sketch a lot as a kid (not just comics), and would even carry a sketchbook around with me in high school. The process of drawing the comics can be a bit frustrating at times, but seeing each finished comic is very rewarding." You can find Jame's previous comics here.

The author told more about his creative process, and what goes into it: "If I think of something funny that would make a good comic, I’ll write it down. I have a giant list of ideas (with varying degrees of quality) that I sift through to pick my next comic. I usually run it by friends and family to see if they find it funny first. A big factor on what idea I decide to turn into a comic is what I feel like drawing next—if I feel like drawing cute animals, I’ll pick a joke from my list of ideas with animals. I also have a lot of comic ideas that I love, but they would be a pain to draw, so I unfortunately keep putting those off for later."
And the author delved a little deeper about his plans for the future. There's a gem in there too, so keep your eyes out for another comic series that might potentially come from this brilliant comic author. "I’m hoping to continue with Good Bear Comics and have it grow. I would also love to branch off onto another comic series with reoccurring characters. Maybe something using more traditional media, such as watercolors. No solid plans yet, though!"
"The part I like the least in the comic-making process is sketching out the drawing. I always have trouble with proportions and perspective. I also tend to erase and redraw quite a bit (I may redraw a character 2-6 times before I’m happy with it) — which just makes the whole process take longer. I do enjoy coloring in the characters and objects though. This tends to be easier and much more relaxing."
It took me a couple of seconds... at first I couldn't figure out why a farmer was at Little Bo Peep's show.
And that, folks,is how you have The Talk, without having to do The Talk!
The farmer swung the hoe and killed all the plants in the area. Also, the hoe flew up in the air, flipping through the air and landing a headshot on the farmer.”My work is done.”the Grim Reaper said as he flew away to find another victim.
wait a second was the whole dogs vs cats thing just an early childhood precursor to racism and sexism in adulthood?
Age of Empires had something like this as a cheat, if memory serves me right.
You don't think a joke about Pikachu getting raped is dark? Okay.
Load More Replies...Maybe not really dark humor but definitely funny as hell. Loved the Barney one.
Don't worry. You didn't miss out on anything funny. One or 2 are cute. That's it.
