Dance Of The Fireflies – Long Exposure Photography Of The Biggest Swarm Of Fireflies I’ve Ever Seen
When I started a small fine dining chef’s table in the jungle of Costa Rica, pretty much everyone told me I was crazy.
“Why the F… make beautiful food in the middle of nowhere?!”
One of the many reasons is because I get to witness magical moments like this dance of fireflies. We’ve had the dry season for 5 months and haven’t seen a drop of water. Now that rain has started again, the fireflies are filling every dark spot of the garden, turning it into a magical sight.
I believe that the most beautiful food must have the most beautiful setting :)
In terms of photography, these are long exposure (30 sec) with ISO ranging from 6400 to H2 (Nikkon).
