Dad Gets Brilliant Revenge After Coach Gives His Daughter “Good Job” Slap On The Butt
It’s often said that mama bears should be avoided at all costs if their young are messed with, but one Pennsylvania man has just proved that papa bears are an equal force of nature by posting one of the most epic revenge stories we’ve seen this year.
The anonymous man, who heavily edited his Reddit monologue to avoid doxxing accusations, tells the tale of ‘Steve,’ a softball coach with a tendency to get a bit too handsy with the young girls on his team – including the OP’s daughter. When he witnesses a particularly inappropriate moment, he pulls the creepy coach aside to call him out on it. Not only does the smarmy bastard defend himself and refuse to stop, he tries to slander the concerned father’s name to anyone in town who will listen. Luckily, ‘Steve’ has a few unsavory skeletons hiding in his closet, and they soon come back to bite him in the most satisfying way.
Scroll down to find out why over 36 thousand Reddit users have upvoted this “top notch dad moment,” and let us know if you think this steaming hot plate of revenge was served right in the comments below.

Share on Facebookoh my god! yes - this coach is an a*****e BUT BP please, please stop posting such stories - you startet as sort of art, invention, innovation platform with really interesting stuff... but today its all about clicks isnt it?
I agree. I mean, the story is cool, but it isn't the type of content that I was looking for when I started to follow the page.
Load More Replies...Revenge can be so delicious, especially when it is completely justifiable. :D
What are you talking about. Justice is always justified unless I'm missing something.
Load More Replies...Way to go - you let a grown man touch your teenage daughter and get away with a talking to and a head shake. You knew he was stealing from kids for years but didn't turn him in until it suited you. I'm struggling with how you're the hero here. You only did the right thing when you felt you would benefit.
I'm completely with you. I was confused, so I read the whole thing like 5 times. How is that man a hero?!
Load More Replies...No way should a grown a*s man slap a girl on the butt. If the girls do it to each other and don't mind that's one thing. A grown adult should have enough common sense to not touch a girl in this manner. He deserved everything he got for stealing from charity for kids.
I would teach my daughter to turn around and knee him in the groin!! No boy/man should ever put their hands on any girl/woman without permission!!!!
I had a female coach in high school that slapped us on the a*s after a good practice. It never bothered me since I saw male coaches doing it to male players but I never watched women's sports so I didn't even consider if they did it or not.
Load More Replies...Why tf didn't he address the harassment more forcefully the FIRST - or second, for god's sake- more forcefully? Communicating to his daughter it's better not to address it but go a completely different route. What if Steve hadn't been embezzling? Then what would the dad have done? Only half a hero in my book. That's not standing up for your daughter.
Here's the thing. There was an agreement before that he wouldn't be brought up on charges. The dad may not have had complete proof of how bad the embezzlement was. Yes,he should have called before all this. I think he was afraid of how the other people would react, and he knew they would try to hide it all, which would explain the anonymous tip. He may have thought, at this point, that there may have been some child porn involved as well as embezzlement, maybe that's why he chose that time to report it. If its money, that's bad enough, but pedophilia is something on a much higher level of evil.
Load More Replies...That jerk deserved what he got. Embezzlement, inappropriate behavior, and possible slander. Sounds like a real peach.
"Your kid suck at softball! So I'm going to go ahead and slap her a*s repeatedly and tell her good job!" Freakin asshat
You let him off easy! Overprotective?! After the FIRST incident...Steve would not have any hands and I'd be in jail!
I've been a BORED PANDA patron for years because your content is light, funny, artistic, and generally uplifting. Your site has sadly been slipping into Buzzfeed territory. Please don't let that happen. This is the ONE place that's a respite from all those other editorial-esque, who's fighting whom garbage sites. This piece is not Bored Panda material.
Good on you, Steve should not be touching the girls in any way like that. A high five would be more appropriate and still convey whatever message he was trying to get across.
NEVER,NEVER,NEVER should any coach or person touch another on their BUTT; most especially NOT a grown man/woman to any child. The end! No debate.
Hats off to him for his cool calm collective behaviour but second time I couldn't do it I would have torn his head off even if it got me in trouble!
Is it just me or did the dad let the other guy get away with touching his Kids. Only later he informed the fbi for unrelated issues.
Players slapping each others' butts, especially adult to adult, is completely different than a coach/player situation. It's like sexual harassment on the job--elevated far more as a "crime" when it involves boss and subordinate.
Different stories and certainly different morals to each. 1. Theft is theft and should be reported whether or not the thieves are nice or not. Be an adult and put your name on it. In a small town everyone knows anyway. To only do it out of revenge and anonymously, smacks of cowardice. Especially if later, you publish it and are looking for praise. 2. Slapping kids on the butt is part of sports. (A stupid part but, yes, a part if done equally to all). Despite that, if you didn't want it done, yes, speak to him AND report it to Child Services. If he does it again, you walk over calmly and punch him in the face and hold him for police. Everyone WILL notice that and then when the story is told, everyone will know. If the government services who are supposed to protect the children do not, YOU may do so because of their failure. You either stand up for your family or not. Especially little kids. 3.Revenge is NEVER brilliant. Just do what is right because it is right and do it and move on.
"Slapping kids on the butt is part of sports." wait... what? it shouldnt be. I've been a youth coach for many years, nope, slapping their butts isnt part of it. yes its common for adults, and even common for them to do to each other, for me, their adult coach... no. never. ever. An adult male slapping male kids butts would be bad enough, an adult male slapping a female kids butt? hell no. I also played sports throughout my youth, football, baseball, basketball, mainly. No coach ever touched my butt. That was in 4 different states as well, and in the 80's and 90's when parents and everyone werent as.... soft.
Load More Replies...Justifiable revenge aside, I don't think Charitable fund embezzlement should be overlooked as 'business as usual.' Good Dad though. Coach should have taken it to heart at first warning.
well the phrase that refer to catching them "in an inappropriate moment," implies the girl was mutually participating. we've got to watch our language. the way we use it, implicitly disguises the responsibility of the predator and vents it on the victim. it should read..."when the coach was caught inappropriately touching his daughter....." call it what it is...don't try to disguise it.
Yeah that coach was a creep and you did the right thing. I played baseball from the age 5-16, male... but still, we got fist bumps, we got high fives... got the odd smack upside the back of the head, never had my a*s slapped that's for sure, and I would have broken that person's knees with my bat if they did. Unless it's a parent, that sort of behaviour is NEVER appropriate with a child.
Sadly, the OP at reddit apparently saw a story in the New York Times and inserted himself into it; details just don't match up. Additionally, for someone who was supposedly upset by his daughter's butt getting slapped, the OP posted pictures on reddit of naked 18-year-old girls. Sheesh. Real story: https://www.nytimes.com/2016/07/10/sports/youth-sports-embezzlement-by-adults.html reddit-com...b7-png.jpg
Girls (all kids actually) need teaching that is never ok for someone to touch them in a way they don't like and it never ok for an adult to touch children in certain ways including this one. That would have been better taught preventing 'Steve' access to further access to teenage girls after the first slap.
It's just a shame that he had to be brought to bear on an unrelated financial charge, instead of being called out for the butt slap. What would have been the recourse if this slime-ball would have been otherwise upstanding? Could Dad have brought assault charges, or sexual impropriety charges against this a*****e? Probably not. It would have been difficult and hell for the daughter who would have to testify before lawyers who would rake her over the coals. What can you do? This dad got lucky; others not so much. Girls should just be taught to knee a guy in the crotch if he touches her lasciviously, or otherwise disrespectfully. It's the best and only way for them to learn.
Steve was a ding dong! The dad did good but I would have beat that man for touching my baby girl!
DOWN WITH STEVE also, Steve could potentially go to jail for sexual harassment
Again...most charities are regulated through a state government agency in which would conduct their own investigation on the embezzlement or fraud. It would be up to the Attorney General of that state to pursue the actiin, not the FBI. As far as the butt slapping, that would be local law enforcement. Didnt read mention of that. I believe this person is blowing a lot of smoke...produce legal documents from proving your story "Dad"
hey the dude is lucky to be alive in my book!!! Great going to this Dad of integrity. Don't mess with kids in this way or your toast....that is the way it should be and ever parent has that right to protect those that cannot protect themselves...
You are better at revenge than me, I would have ended up charged with a serious assault charge the first time I had seen it!
so the moral of the story is if you're going to embezzle money from kids charities, that's fine, so long as you don't do the sports butt tap thing too many times.
dude was lucky, grown a*s man slapping my childs a*s in any context would get dragged behind the dugout and beat within an inch of his life.
Load More Replies...The only thing that I see that the author should have done, in addition, was follow up with a PRIVATE "Keep your hands off my daughter or you will be sorry." And, once he found out about the derogatory things Steve was saying against him to come out publicly, stating "this man is touching young girls inappropriately, I called him on it, and he is now making unfounded derogatory comments about me."
So dude was completely cool with the embezzlement until creepy coach touched his daughter.
This story was post on the internet anonymously, There is no proof that any of this actually happened. Sorry, I'm calling Fake News on this one.
U should have looked a little farther into his background because if he did that he might have been doing something worse to his own daughter! (Like sex) but I would have shot him dead if he that to my daughte r!
NOBODY should touch ANYONE with out their concent. I don’t care if it’s sports or not. We live in a different time. Weather you agree with the way it’s changing or not, the fact still remains that it’s different now then it was. People, especially the young ones, are more sensitive then the people in the past. What if the male coach was gay and coached little league boys baseball. I’d rather have a gay male coach who wasn’t a child molester than a heterosexual male coach who was a sex offender. Unfortunately most people in the USA would rather have the “strait” coach who has multiple sexual accusations against him involving children then the guy who has never had any accusations. Unless the parents actually see, and are present for, when their kids get molested than they won’t believe it.
No adult male softball coach should slap a players a*s. I say that as a retired professional baseball player with a daughter in college. I think the embezzling, coddled, spoiled brat as an adult coach who may be a molester got exactly what he deserves. Nice job @Scoot_Ya_Boot
I'd say the a*****e got off lightly! If that ha been my Daughter I'd have ripped him apart!
I think he should have have gotten more. He should be on the sex offender list. I still don't think he got what he deserves. Not enough. They can still press charges on the daughter's behalf.
A hero ? NOT when it takes 3 slaps of your daughter's behind before you take positive action.
I'm shocked you didn't deck the guy right on the spot. So what does the town think of Steve and his family now? I say if he EVER comes even close to any of your daughters the guy needs he block knocked off. YOU be that protective dad and don't stop when she turns 18 or gets out of college or even turns 56 years old. I turned 56 this June. My family help each other with our rentals. Just a few weeks ago my dad asked me to reverse my decision about doing something for a tenant that has rented from my family at least 35 years or so. Used to be a great aunt. These tenants were FURIOUS were my great aunt didn't leave them the property they were living in, right NEXT door to our "homeplace", where I am now living. They sucked up to her SO badly. I thought it was hysterical it was ME watching the new color TV they gave her at Christmas the year before she died. My dad learned they've been spreading vicious gossip about me. At 56 with a 77 year old dad it still feels good he has my back.
the coach is fine. the dad is toooo sensitive. he ruined a man's life because of normal sport stuff. well that dad's daugther might never get married because of him (the dad).
the coach is fine, the dad is toooo sensitive. he ruined a man's life all because of normal sport stuff.
I don't see how he is a hero either, ask yourself this, play the devil's advocate, let's say this steve stopped slapping the girl's butt the first time the dad asked him too, would he still have turned steve in for stealing the money?, i say no he wouldn't have
He deserved to have his a*s kicked right then and there.. so revenge was deserved but I'd have hit him with a bat if he touched my child.
I've played just about every sport there is and I never smacked a guy's butt. I never understood how "manly men" who never passed up on the chance to tell a f*g joke were so open to slapping a guy's a*s. I always went for the back or shoulder. Does that mean I'm queer? #sarcasm.
no, dad, you did just the right thing. his slap was beyond inappropriate for any child, regardless of gender. do not touch, period.
He did the right thing. If anything, he should have reported it right away. Coach was a fkn criminal!
Why did it take the coach slapping her butt to even consider having that investigation launched? If you knew he was probably skimming, should have said something long before. Not out of revenge, but because it's STEALING from many kids and families. Glad he got busted in the end, but would he have been able to keep doing it if things hadn't gotten personal...?
You should have nipped that in the bud as soon as it happened. "Keep your hands out my daughter and others or you'll find out what getting hit is like."
in general I see this as ok, I mean if they are super close to their coach or he is not creepy, on the other hand, equality is about treating women like men, and men get slapped on the a*s on the time. so in that case the father was treating his little girl like she wasn't able to play a mans sport without him fighting her battles and making her less. so f**k you dad ..
I think.....a*s slapping or not, it was the right thing to do! The fact that it served as revenge...........cherry on top! Steve is a d**k, I hate Steve, don't be like Steve (or D**k)
Congrats Dad. Gender aside, parents MUST stick up for their kids. It's the JOB. Love the outcome. Better than innocent dad getting criminal charges for kicking coaches every loving a*s. Also, love that the town who backed him is chagrined every time they look at the nameless field! Love this Dad.
And now once he gets out of prison with his new-found friends.. then what?
I really don't care about two grown men slapping each other on the a*s, as long as they don't slap MY a*s. I really don't care if two grown women slap each other on the a*s, or my a*s either. Two little girls do it, fine. Two little boys, that's okay. But grownups--keep your hands off the kids.
As much as I want to feel great about this story I am inclined to feel like sports, in itself, has a tendency to make grown men act like children all the way around. When you have to resort to this to get that result it just reminds me of how far communities go to protect coaches and athletes.
the end result is awesome... like many others, i think the rest is pretty disappointing. I'm glad this guy is getting what he deserves for ripping off charities and the kids those charities help. He needed to be stopped before it snowballed even further. But to annonomously report it, only after you were wronged seems pretty self serving and cowardly. He still wasnt held responsible for the thing that initially upset the dad. if steve didnt bad mouth the dad, would he still be touching young girls and stealing from charity? sure the end justifies the means, but that doesnt mean its something worth bragging about it.
100% correct in what happened to poor ol STEVE. Touch MY daughters a*s and I'll break your f*****g arm! F**k you Steve!
You stood not only for your daughter and all young women but you also stood up for the town and all of the people and organizations that he had been ripping off for all of those years. Cudos to you, there was no need to put his hands on her or anyone's butt or even coaches hugging players creeps me out unless it were to be the final championship game and they were all hugging
Hey, a******s we are the good guys. We call stuff out and as a dad, you did an awesome job.
I wonder how much outrage would be going on if it was a Male couch congratulating a Male player in such a manner
Yep. Totally did the right thing, But what was 'sleughted' supposed to say?
I'm not defending the coach I believe what he did was wrong but if the genders were reverse would anyone even care? My answer is no look at all those female teachers who get caught sleeping with male underage students everyone says yeah good job etc. And they usually get little to no jail time.
I hear LOUD and CLEAR what you're saying....BUT, or BUTT, what if the coach was a girl? Not a woman who was stealing, WHAT A SLIME BAG, but a smack on the butt has been a sign of GOOD JOB for years!!
The thing is that what can be a sign of respect between equals can be totally wrong among people who are not on equal footing. Coach and player are not equal. Adult and minor are not equal. Men are on average stronger, bigger and heavier than women, which means that getting touched by a man you don't trust can be outright scary. This was an adult (male) coach touching an underage (female) student close to her genitals. And if he made "no big deal" noises to the father, do you think he would have taken it any more serious if the girl had said that she didn't want it? If the coach had been a women, then by the way I would have expected her to stop doing that when being asked to too, everything else marks the slapper as a definite creep instead of just someone who has a mismatch in nonverbal communication.
Load More Replies...If you didn't know, Steve wasn't the guy who wrote this post..
Load More Replies...The dad done the right thing. I coached jr giants for two years, and never thought of doing this. The only physical contact i had with the kids is when they would run up and give me a hug but even then i never touched them in a bad way. Anyone who touches a kid like that deserves to get f****d up
Maybe he was stuck in the past or something. Because when I played baseball back in the early 90s as a kid, our coach slapped everyone on the butt and nobody ever raised an eyebrow about it.
Load More Replies...Revenge is a dish best served cold. And I see male players in the English Premier soccer league give high fives and even hug each other in celebration regulatry. And the very occasional slap on the a*s as a reminder to run a bit harder, but not in celebration. It's definitely pervy for a male coach to do it to young girls. Well done that dad! Seems like the coach thought the dad would be afraid to do anything because the family weren't in that town all that long. Bad mistake by the coach.
The daughter learned a valuable lesson. If someone does something you don't like - detroy them and their family.
good dad, smart dad, lucky daughter to have such great parents.
i cant believe he waited until it happened TWICE to do something. I can't speak for everyone but had one of my coaches touched my butt back when i was in softball my dad would've gone nuclear IMMEDIATELY.
I wish there were more Dad's like this guy. What a great revenge story looks good on ol' a*s slapping Stevie boy!!
You suspected that he was a criminal you should turn him in sooner. Wouldn't have the chance to touch your daughter. Vengeance isn't heroism
Genuine question: What about the boy's teams? And their coaches doing the same thing? Does it produce the same result in anger and deemed inappropriate? We all want gender equality, equal rights, but when, in this case, the coach does, then there's an uproar? Also digging up old bones or using something completely unrelated as a method of revenge, it's like saying someone's dog is an a*****e, so he's an a*****e too? While I wouldn't condone it myself, but I'm hoping the same kind of uproar is created when a coach does it with boys... Male camaraderie? I think there's a genuine concern if all the team members are offended with this because then it becomes less "dad protective" and more "child abuse" leaning to paedophilia... I don't believe the upset the father is feeling is unwarranted... My question is genuine and sincere. Rather be sure, than to label someone - also, if it was agreed that the previous theft was not to be discussed, that was an agreement, which has now been broken

I'm loving this Dad's revenge. An adult man touching a teenagers a*s is usually cause for a pediphila charge, so kudos to this Dad for handling it "Old School". My hat is off to you, good Sir. I think public humiliation & financial ruin was a great way to go. Well done, you. You have taught your girls a really good lesson. Their bodies shouldn't be touched by ANYONE without their permission
Or the daughter could learn to cope and set limits for herself. Father's over-reactions are essentially anti-female.
Yes, the coach is inappropriate but then, your vulgar language is equally inappropriate. What are you teaching the young athletes and parents? Get a brain and wash your mouth out with soap.
How exactly is swearing worse than slapping someone's butt?

Load More Replies...I would not see it as ok. Teachers simply should not touch pupils like that, because of the difference in power.
