Share on FacebookGeckos are neat animals. Very chill and laid back. To all you naysayers, who cares that he's not actually smiling? He's still adorable. Let a little light into your jaded souls
People who read this and think he's actually smiling are actually a little bit more misinformed than they were a moment before. Who cares? I do. Why can't someone share fun pictures without trying to make the world a stupider place? The pictures are good enough without it.
Load More Replies...I still think a lizard can be happy, though :/ Why you gotta bring me down, guys?
"he can't smile he's a lizard" ugh please stop ruining the idea of happy animals. THANK YOU.
hey, fyi animals can smile and they even have feelings and emotions.....
Load More Replies...who cares if they cant smile I dont , he is happy the toy is his baby that makes my day great.
How you know he is happy if you can't tell if he is smiling?
Load More Replies...Yes this is a great picture but it's very sad , leopard geckos can not be in sand.. why you ask? Well it's because it can get into their eyes and into their mouth and can cause serious damage to him/her. (Or even worse they can inhale it) if you look it up there are many facts to why sand is bad. People thing that leopard geckos live in the sandy deserts they are wrong they actually live in rocky areas and should not again, live in sand!
This is one of the funniest things I've seen! Even in 'gecko land,' there's nothing like a fav toy!
Is it a female Gecko? Maybe you are catching s glimpse of her natural mothering and nuturing instincts.
Why not a real gecko buddy and not a toy, if you should have one at all?
tbh i breed those types of geckos and they always smile because of their facial structure and its adorable
Geckos are very cute, but belong in nature, not in a terrarium. I'm very lucky that they frequently visit my house.
Gecko is on sand poor baby. No geck should ever have sand in thier terrarium they can't digest it and it builds in thier tums. Also geckos are solitary animals they do not like being with other geckos when they are "cuddling" the one on top is showing dominance to the other one it's on. Geckos never should be together not one male and female not 2 females and two males will fight to the death. Unsafe husbandry practices and that gecko is ontop of the toy because he is claiming his dominance over it if it were a real gecko it would be a sad photo.
EYES are the doorway to our soul. And when I look at his eyes I can see that he is happy and enjoying his wizzard toy.Cool;)
it looks like you took pictures of him 'smiling' but not really because lizards can't smile. However, it is very very cute and it DID make my day. :D
He's smiling, he's happy and he has a friend that looks just like him. He's happy and he looks peaceful. He's not in the cage all by himself. Too cute.
This picture is all wrong. Geckos should never be on sand period. They should only have tile, slate, shelf liner, I paper towel. When a gecko eats that sand enters the body and cannot be digested. Second geckos should never be house together. Two makes fight to the death one male and female the male will mate the female to ..and two females will always battle for dominance. If it was a real gecko and not a toy this picture would be sad because that gecko by laying on the toy is claiming its dominance NOT cuddling it. And no it's not maternal insticts it's an aggressive act.
You shouldn't be down-voted for stating facts. Be reasonable, people.
Load More Replies...you'd have unwanted gecko babies, though. no thanks.
Load More Replies...It was born domesticated. It doesnt even kmow what the outside is. If it were released, it'd die, either from preditors or starvation.
