Cross stitch is a form of counted thread embroidery that has been around for ages, and it is widely regarded as one of the easiest forms of hand embroidery, making it an accessible hobby for virtually everyone.
One of the biggest online communities advocating for this craft is the aptly titled subreddit r/CrossStitch. As you may have seen in our earlier article on this place, its 404K members are constantly sharing pictures of their proud works, and they serve as perfect examples of cross-stitching's limitless potential.
However, since the subreddit remains really active, we thought it was about time we made an update on it. Continue scrolling to check out its latest gems.

Fantastic selection of some talented crafty people. The larger ones require ludicrous dedication and patience.
Oh no... Its happening again! I'm getting INSPIRED!!!!!
I used to do cross-stitching as a kid, this makes me want to start again!
These are all great and yes, maybe around Christmas I will find the time to keep going with my largest ever project (A3 size, completely, densely stitched when finished) that has been pushed back to the end of the line several times by now. I have already completed more than half of it but somewhere along the way I got a bit frustrated and kind of lost my mojo. I will finish it someday, I know, but it might still take several years! There are always so many other things to be done... Also, a bit off the topic, but if you like the cross stitch patterns but do not want to spend your time with needle and thread why not try diamond painting? It is a bit as if cross stitching and paint by numbers had a love child - you put tiny "diamonds" on a sticky surface to create the picture following printed instructions. It is easy, very calming and pretty quick!
I love these crafty posts! There are some seriously skilled people out there. I’m not one of them so all you stitchers/knitters/woodworkers/etc. seriously impress me!
Beautiful! I'm cross stitching a picture of my friends dog, who died in January, and it's hard to me to find motivation to continue with the project, but this helps!!
Oh wow. I grew up doing cross-stitch, mostly samplers or random things. Ten years ago I realised I could actually stitch anything I wanted... which turned out to be quite expensive so I never did it. I did start a Doctor Who cross-stitch for the 50th anniversary, but never finished it. This is making me wanna dig it out again!
