50 Of The Creepiest Things Kids Have Said That We Do Not Recommend Reading Alone
Not so long ago, people have entertained themselves by having a Seance, in which they attempted to contact the spirits. But why bother with a Seance, when you can ask your crepy kids for some spiritual guidance as is with these little ones that have unwillingly explored their dark sides. We already know that kids have the wildest imagination and can translate that into the creepiest children's drawings ever, but this time we're focusing on something else. To prove that kids can sometimes unknowingly tap into the paranormal Bored Panda has compiled some of the scariest things people heard boys and girls say, and the stories from these weird kids will vividly fuel your nightmares.
It all started when writer Mikki Kendall addressed her Twitter followers, "People who interact with kids, what is the single weirdest/creepiest thing a kid has ever said to you?" After the tweet, all hell broke loose, and it turned out that kids say the darndest things. From threatening violence and seeing ghosts to painting vivid memories of a life before, these are just some of the creepy things that Mikki has received prove some children sound like skilled fortune-tellers or the devil himself. Scroll down to read the creepy things kids say, that even Edgar Allan Poe and H.P. Lovecraft would approve of.

I watched a show when I was a kid that same story. Kids waiting to be born, talking about how they imagine their lives would be. Except they where waiting to be born, not to go into the womb, and they already knew their mothers.

A lot of these can be explained by imaginary friends, watching videos and not understanding social norms. When a kid learns some one is pregnant they assume everyone is, they fill in random blanks like wether it's male or female or twins. I've worked with many kids and heard similar things. They absorb so much and don't understand themselves. I do like the stories where the young kids talk about reincarnation. Because it's cute

Load More Replies...My random remark: "I can smell your fear" is a line that Worgen characters from World Of Warcraft MMO game say. They say it loudly, clearly and this line got into my brain fast (I'm 31 mind you). So I wouldn't be surprised if the kiddo heard that very line in the game. As many other here - games, TV, their friends at school/kindergarten etc. Kids hear and proceed in their minds a lot more than one can expect, so no wonder they pop up with such strange and creepy things :)
Oh, and let's not forget older siblings (usually brothers) "Gee, Mom, I don't know where s/he got the idea that something would flow up the basement stairs and wrap around him..." with fingers crossed behind their backs. (Can't remember the movie trailer, but I do remember the scene!)
Load More Replies...High school, babysitting identical twin girls. They dump all the toys out of a big bucket, direct me to sit in it. Thinking it will be a boat or a space ship, I comply. They proceed to hustle around the room busily looking for onions, carrots, garlic, potatoes etc. (Toy blocks, small stuffed animals, etc. stood on for the food.) They added the ingredients to my cooking pot, stoked the pretend fire and taste tested my progress. They we're re-enacting the story of the Stone Soup, but using a live human (me!) as the base!!!
There is nothing "creepy" abt any of this nonsense. The majority of them are made up ("my kid sings dead polish grandmother songs") and the rest can be accounted for by things like the simple factors pointed out by A Ghost above.
Christ, people, it was just supposed to be a list of creepy things kids say. The author didn't imply that it was supposed to have supernatural or paranormal explanations that needed internet "geniuses" to debunk. Stop overthinking things and just enjoy it at face value.

Well, if this post is good at one thing, it's to show that adults are quite gullible. :) This "phenomenons" can be explained by pure coincidence... Kids are extremely good at making the weirdest stories up. Or to make the most unexpected statements. And sometimes, rarely, it fits what's happening around them. And we adults always want to find the easiest explanation: ghosts, aliens, etc... ;) And like many commentators point out, kids absorb absolutely every bit of information that has the chance to enter their little fiery brains. As for the ghost stories... Same old same old...
I remember 10 years ago, when my daughter was just 3, she hugged me and said "Daddy, I love you so Im going to keep your heart safe" After that, for 3 years, she would occasionally say "Ah ah ah! don't you dare!" One week, when she was 6, before my 40th birthday she came running out to me crying "DADDY!!!" I hadn't been well that day but I hid it from her. I was changing all the tires on our car as they had been slashed the night before. "Whats wrong little darling?" I said and she went pale and said with tears in her eyes "Daddy, I'm sorry! I wasn't watching!" I woke up in hospital. I had heart failure, dilated cardiomyopathy, and had passed out. My fiancee and my daughter were sat by my bed when I woke up for the first time and my daughter said "Im sorry daddy, I ws too late but you can never die now. You are the strongest dad in the world and you will live forever... once you have had your batteries changed" I have LBBB and I now have a pacemaker.
Apparently I died 3 times and she said each time "Daddy will be back in a minute." She is 13 now and still checks on me every day

Somehow i knew who they were, and it always brought me peace. My maternal grandmother came for me when i was in the 6th grade, to take me with her. she had passed about 5 years before that incident. we went to the front porch, but i knew if i continued with her, i would die. i went back to my bed. Now that i am an old woman, i know what she was trying to protect me from. i'm still not sure if staying was the right thing to do.
Maybe some of the kids remembering/seeing things are real and some are just kids using their imagination, playing with imaginary friends etc or just simply creeping their family out. Whether people believe in supernatural, ghosts, spirits, the afterlife, reincarnation is up to them. When I was a kid, around 6-7years old, running up the stairs of my parents' house before leaving for school, I saw a man, dressed in a wierd old outfit with a fleur-de-lis on it, standing at the top of the stairs, near my room and the other stair to the attic. It freaked me out and I bolted back down, my parents checked but noone was there. And for years me and my brothers could hear someone run up and down the stairs, at some point me and my brother (age 12-14 at that time) were home alone with our dogs. We heard the front door open and slam shut, someone running up the stairs which caused the dogs to start barking like mad. Ofcourse my brother goes to check it out but nothing there.
There's been some others things like it (hearing doors open and close etc) so... Can blame it on my imagination but it gets a bit wierd when 2 people and dogs can hear it at the same time. So I don't know...

I was rather spooked and I still wonder how and why to this day.
Everytime I read about supernatural stuff I start crying I guess it makes me very nervous. I also remember that my older sister told me a story about an old man who had a big beautyful house but some bad people took it from him and then he build another house in the sky but the bad people still are trying to get his house. And then I asked what happened did they get his other house too? NO she said now noone can steal his house. I told this story to my sister and she says I never told you that how silly hahah
Last fall my 3 years old told me he was tidying his modeling clay because he didn't want to share it with the other kids. As we were home and his sister was sleeping I asked him who were the kids he was talking about: "the creepy ones with green skin and huuuuuge eyes." Then he mumbled "don't tell them Im' going to play in my bedroom, I don't want them to follow me"...
When I was 11yo, I visited my grandpa, and helped my uncle to curry some roof tiles for his new house. I carried the tiles on the shoulder using the carrying ring (made of dried banana leaves) and my aunty(15) when she saw me, she told me to change from shoulder to head, she told me the reason is that the way I was carrying means someone is going to die. I changed and put on the head but thought it was just a joke. so the next morning, we heard that one man from the neighborhood was murdered. I was freaked out till today, I can't ever use a carrying ring on my shoulder. it took me a month to get a sleep at night.
I Once had an imaginary friend named Jumpedy. And I would Call him on a pretend phone to ask him to play Uno with me.
what's real? reality is only what the nerve endings to your brain tell you is real.
My little cousin never talks to me...never. And one day, when I was at a hockey tournament, she told me that I looked like a monster because I had black eyeliner... P.S. I only put a little bit...you know, just to make my eyes pop out just a little bit...so there...
I was in a subway train going to home and its about late night 10:30 pm, A kid (probably 3-4yr old) sitting in front of me is eating a chocolate that her mother gave her, and i was watching her eat it and suddenly she looked right in my eye and said i wonder what you taste like and i just get off the subway train next station (4-5 station earlier than my home station) take the public bus to home. I still wonder what makes her say that...
It’s great to see a post that is not clickbait!! Very interesting read! Thank you!!
I live in a suburb, in Minnesota; I'm blonde. I have no kids of my own, and though I have lots of nieces and nephews, I'm not really close with any of them-- but I work retail, and a lot of the time when babies are in the store they seem to love me/ find me fascinating, or at least funny... One time, years ago, a Somali(?) family was in my line, mothers and aunts and such, including a little girl probably about 2 or so... I was just doing my job, ringing up their merchandise, when the little girl takes such a liking to me that she comes around the counter, and latches herself onto me! They all thought it was funny and cute, but she really wanted to be held by me! Eventually, after they finished with their purchases, and were walking on, I started to explain to a co-worker who had just come by, when the little girl runs back, and throws herself on me again! I tried to "herd" her back to her family, but she threw her arms around my neck! I found the family, they just laughed about it...
When I was about 3, my family had 2 dogs. When the first one died, I had been playing with a small toy I had modeled after her. Apparently, I threw it to the ground and said "bye bye Lucy!" (Dogs name). The second one, Teke, died a few months later, and was buried next to a tree in our yard. I wasn't told where he was buried. After a while, you couldn't tell that anything was buried. I wandered out by myself and sat by the tree. My parents found me waving at air and saying Teke over and over
My friend and I was on the beach one day. Some little boy, who was with his father, pointed at my friend and said: "Look, there's Ivan"! My friend's name is Ivan.
Have you noticed that Infants look like they are looking at something we don,t see
When my aunt moved in to her new house it's an old house we went over to see it and me and my 4 year old cousin were sitting on the swings and she says i have a new friend her name is Tony but i call her blacky because she is covered in ashes and she was killed when the house caught on fire. At the time we didn't know anything about the house because they had only been there for a week so we did some research finding her description very detailed and it turns out the house had a fire but there was no reports of anyone dieing and when my little cousin heard this she went to her room and started screaming lier lier over and over then she never said anything about Tori again
Okay, so my youngest cousin (she was 4 then) was playing with our grandparents' kitten when she said: "She is so cute... I wouldn't want to kill her." I still think of it every day :D
The ones pointing to assumptions of a past life and stuff like that kinda makes me wonder whether some certain images I have in my head about abandoned playgrounds and horizontal office blinders casting those monotonous shadows are really dreams I remember from when I was a kid, or actual memories..... Ahahah now, that sounds like attention seeking, but don't we all kinda have those kinds of sketches of memories we can't remember where from? ^_-
little kids can say alot once my little sister was on the swing and she was alone so i went to go sit with her as she screamed get up get up oh my god you killed her than she started chaishing me scariest day of my life
when my youngest son was 2 he looked at me and said 'when I was before I was your Mummy' . My Mum died when I was a baby.
There is a variety of possibilities for all of these - although I would never discount the possibilities - some children wil repeat things they hear as parents you don't necessarily realise happened let alone retained as they are so peripheral to us. So much technology these days makes it hard to know what your child's brain has retained. That said there are a few stories I have heard from time to time which are curious - and the post of the child singing in Polish is similar to others I have heard. There is a well held belief children being more 'open' are often a conduit for the 'other side' and it has been used a lot in movies - I even remember a story about a child who went to Lourdes and was visited by an apparition and the child or children themselves were visited for blessings - I believe it has been discounted since. People seek solace and peace - it is sad to me the belief but if it somehow causes the body itself to behave differently due to a mindset then does it hurt?
When I was about 6-11 I could tell when peoples phones would go off similar to the blip sound speakers emit, I could feel it in me and it would make me uncomfortable. Similarly I could if I put my finger in the back of a tv (where the ariels go) or a radio (by holding the cable when its exposed outside the sleeve) would improve the signal on tv's or pick up random mixed signal on the radio that sounded like screaming or chanting etc. I'm sure it was just some electrical phenomenon as I can no longer tell when modern phones get calls or texts. But old electrical stuff I can still boost or scramble the signals by touching them, and can usually tell if anything is plugged into a socket because of the annoying sounds it makes (i'm told most people cannot hear the plug sockets) - Im 28 now and can still tell you which sockets have things drawing power from them at home when the lights are out and its quiet enough to hear them.
This happened to me a few years ago. My son was about 3 at the time and woke me up early one Sunday morning , it must have been after 5am. He had slept in my bed, softly shook my shoulder and told me to move up. I told him theres plenty of space for him and he said its not for him its for "the lady with the white hair" and then fell asleep behind my back... I was frozen there... then he said in a whisper " she says dont worry and her name is aunty Rosie" Moved out of that apartment the next week... No thanks aunty Rosie!
I've lived with a few possible ghosts through my childhood and early adulthood (depending on the residence; there were several in our house that was a doctor's headquarters in the 1800s, then eventually just one woman in a mobile home we got suspiciously cheap. Two other houses and 2 apartments were clear). They were all pleasant once I got used to their presence. You don't necessarily have to run away from them.
Load More Replies...I had a dream about my brother was in accident a week before he had exactly same accident. It gives eerie feeling.
I know what it is. Sometimes people believe that they have lived a previous life. What it actually is, sometimes a spirit of someone who has died, slips into the spirit of a baby being born & there are 2 spirits living in the same body. Guess you could call it reincarnation of the old spirit. Some people have the ability to command these spirits to come out or just cast them out. They have to obey the one who is casting them out. There is no danger in banishing them.
I heard that 78% of little kids from the ages 3 to 7 can actually remember their past lives. There are many cases on this fact such as kids telling their parents that they used to live by the coast of Cape York and was taken by these white skinned people. I also had a dream where I was some sort of bird in a really dense forest (in japan) I'd fly through the forest and I found a lost temple-ish looking building. Later on I discovered there is an abandoned copper mining factory around Nagasaki in JAPAN....
