You Can Meet This Artist In Any Of The Cafes In Europe, She Sits With A Cup Of Coffee And Draws

In my family, “Creativity rewarded or punished” everyone! Everyone has their own style and involvement in the process. At the same time, only my sister and I chose as a profession or the meaning of life. There is something that separates us and something that unites us, everyone in the family has their own style and motivation, they inspire absolutely different things. Today I want to talk about my sister, an artist from Ukraine, Galina Shevtsova, and her inspiration for urban landscapes.

Galina is one of those amazing personalities that you could meet in person and even draw with her in one of the cafes in European cities. It could have happened anywhere. If you see her coming, she will be very happy.

She is inspired by the bustle of passers-by, old and modern streets, buildings and communication with people.

We had many different stories related to her drawing, the fact is that when she draws, she does not notice what is happening around. Once we were at the sea, she began to paint with watercolors, sitting on the rocks near the water, I was a little bored. The beach was empty, somewhere in the distance there was a small beach cafe, I took a book and warned her to go to read a book in a cafe.

It suddenly began to rain, and then a heavy downpour began, Galina was not in the cafe, there was nowhere to hide from the downpour on the beach. I got worried and peering into the distance noticed her figure on the stones … she continued to draw further without feeling discomfort.

I was uneasy, there were no umbrellas, I asked the bartender to put coffee, sugar and wine on my tray and went in the rain to her. My appearance with a tray and everything that was on it did not surprise her at all, she drank some coffee, dipped a brush into it and continued to paint further. It was a timely shade missing in the palette no more. The tray as a whole in her worldview appeared only when she completed her picture.
