Every working individual probably agrees with the old proverb "all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy". But workspaces often limit us to the one thing we're all supposed to do there and leaves little room for any play. Well, not unless you have a lunch break and a bit of imagination, like Andrew and his coworker Matt.
The two decided to spice up their work days by getting energy drinks and labeling them with Asian/white pairings from popular culture, playing into stereotypes. "We'd always split an energy drink out of the vending machine. [...] Instead of labeling our cups with names, I decided to jokingly use "Jackie Chan" and "Owen Wilson", since they're also an Asian and white duo" Andrew told Bored Panda. He mentioned drawing inspiration from popular culture and even taking suggestions from other people. "Some did bring to my attention the overuse of disposable cups, and I've decided to find a more reusable, less wasteful method" Andrew reassured.
