Honestly i have zero patience with people who don't vaccinate! I can't anymore! I'm tired of the excuses! If it didn't affect other people i would say let them be! If they don't have a brain then what can we do? But no! It affects others and seriously i have no tolerance! If you care only for yourself and don't give a s**t about anybody else, then you are a shitty person and i don't want to have anything to do with you! They should be ashamed!!! People in poorer countries are really desperate for vaccines and in the west we have a choice of 4 and don't go to do it! So f*****g spoiled! Better send them to people that appreciate them!

Feeling the same. Sucks they got conned into believing the bullshit and they ARE victims of the bullshit campaigns, but after seeing so many of them dig their heels in, reject logic and attack others with differing opinions, I can only take the silver lining that it seems *a certain type of population* is dying. I only hope those surviving can learn the hard lessons from it and start seeing where the truth is.

There's also a lot of misinformation out there though, and social media has made it sooooo much worse. People such as you and I are fortunate enough to discern the truth from all the muck floating around the internet, but many people aren't. Idk how it is in your country, but there's a clear class divide in my country between those falling for misinformation and those not. Please be patient with those in your life who may be anti-vaxers and just try ur best to share the facts as simply as possible.

I think we should still have empathy for them. I don't know why people like that exist, but they truly seem to not have the mental capacity to understand risk/benefit analyses of any kind on any level. (It also doesn't seem to be genetic, since many of them have children who beg them to listen. Maybe there was lead in their drinking water or something.) If monkeys or cats were being vaccinated and some of them resisted because they can't see the purpose and only see someone approaching to prick them with needles, you wouldn't even bother talking to them. Some of these antivax people are no different.

But others spread the wrong informations and some are just unfortunate enough to believe the wrong one. Most people just want to be safe and if a friend/ parent/ priest/ president tells them vaccines are bad/ unhealthy, then it is not their fault if they believe in it. See it like a scam. It's easy to fall pray to it.

Maybe it's the fact that people want the freedom to make up their own mind. You complain about people calling you names in one breathe, and in the next you demand they get vaccinated. Maybe if you would mind your own business, people wouldn't be calling you names 🤔

Vaccination is not 100%. She talks about intubating young healthy people. Without intubation, these people would have had a much better chance of survival regardless of vaccination status. Virtually no one under 30 has died from Covid compliacations.

It's becoming more and more clear that vaccination will only help not getting sick. It does not prevent the virus from spreading. Especially the latest variety. So while vaccination is recommended, it is mostly for people that are likely to become ill from it. The Delta variety most likely became succesful because of our (necessary) efforts to prevent it from spreading. Corona's biggest trick is being a cold virus (with nasty reactions from our immune systems), it's great at spreading, it's what it does. And it will specialize according to our reactions. The most likely "solution" is finding a way to stop extreme immuno response in our bodies, while giving it room to spread so it doesn't specialize any further. And, of course, get the weak to vaccinate, especially until we figure out even more effective ways of stopping the immuno response.

Yeah, let's overlook the fact the CDC has already stated the boost shot losses effectiveness after 4 months. I mean think about it, you even acknowledge it in your own words. Elderly people had their vacations and then the hospitals started filling up again. The same people who didn't have the vaccine before, still didn't have it. Ergo, the hospitals would have stayed full, not started filling up.
