30 Unbearably Cute Couple Comics By Anjali Comics
Interview With ArtistEveryone's significant other is unique, but that doesn't mean that people don't have similar experiences when in love. It's good to realize how your bond is special, but it's also good to realize that you're not the only couple doing their own thing. Actually, in some sense, it is even therapeutic to realize you're not the only "crazy" couple out there, and in fact, the "bizarre" things that you love to do are actually pretty normal. And what is the best way to figure this out? By reading couple comics, of course!
This is why we may thank Anjali Srivastava for making cute couple comics that reflect everyday life with your partner in a very relatable way. So, without further ado, let us introduce you to Anjali Comics!

Meet Anjali, the Artist Behind These Wonderful Couple Comics
Given the chance, Bored Panda reached out to Anjali, the author of the couple comics, to find out a little bit more about her and her work.
“Since childhood, I was always fascinated by comics and doodling. And I’ve always been really good at drawing and illustrating that’s why I pursued Bachelors of Fine Arts. Where I learned the basics of design, illustrations, and software like Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. I create my comics in Adobe Illustrator.”
When asked about what prompted her to create these funny couple drawings, the artist shared that “It all started when I first drew a comic strip for KT (My partner) on a piece of paper about the story of how we met. He loved it so much that he asked me to create some more and finally convinced me to make it on a digital platform and share it with the world. And that's how Anjali comics was born. It's been more than two years now.”
Where Does Anjali Get the Inspiration for Her Couple Comics?
Being an artist is not easy, one can easily encounter a lack of inspiration, burnout, etc, so we wanted to ask the artist about her inspiration for the funny couple comics.
“The love and support I get from my audience inspire me to create more comics and give them a reason to smile. It’s a great feeling and responsibility to know that people are waiting to see my comics every Sunday evening.”
We also asked the artist about how people reacted to her cute couple comics. “Oh, I love how they connect with us and our characters. I also get many DMs from my audience that our characters look like them, sometimes they even send their picture comparing them with our characters.”
Wait till 10yrs, tornado warnings are issued and the UN weapons inspectors visit. ;o)
We make a daily game of who can get the first butt slap in. I hope this is us when we get old.
Can Anyone Draw Couple Comics?
We were also wondering if Anjali had any advice for the people who might want to start doing funny couple comics as well, and this is what she shared. “Don’t feel shy or embarrassed about sharing your art. Don’t worry about being judged and make the content which makes you happy rather than making something which you can’t relate to just to please your audience. Be authentic and be yourself.”
“Our art is inspired by our daily life instances and more than 90% of my posts are based on real-life incidents and 10% on wild over-dramatic imagination. And we are glad that our audience finds it relatable.”
Thanks, Anjali, for talking with us! And now, let her couple comics do the rest and entertain us until our bellies are sore with laughter.
I do that too. Husband gets up while we're watching Netlfix. "Noooo! I'm not done yet!"
Yep..Sometimes my wife is like this. Her giggle box gets turned over, and the rest of the night all I gotta do is give her "the look".
I see many similarities in these comics and my wife and my relationship. I like that the female character is shown having as much, if not more interest in intimate stuff as the male character. Women like to do stuff too, and they shouldn't be ashamed of wanting and needing that intimacy as much as s man. For alotnof folks,it's a part of expressing love for one another.
What.??? Women are ashamed of showing interest in intimacy.?? WHY.????
Load More Replies...These are cute and better than the standard fare here, but it reminds me how single I am.
All were pretty spot on. Living the single life now. Sometimes I miss the picking and snuggles but maybe I'll find the right match for me.
Why is being Filipino 'a bit weird for western audiences'. I'm as white as they come and find all of her animations pretty relatable. Not sure what the unnecessary gatekeeping is about, but I agree with the rest. Toonce is wonderful~
