Central America is NOT a continent. It is part of North America. The 17 people that upvoted your comment clearly don't know geography.

Central America is a political designation, rather than a geographical one. I never heard about Central America until I moved to the United States.

I love the comments saying it was too easy but that they still got two or three of them wrong. I can just about see people being confused by the islands, given that many of them are by some definitions not physically part of a continent, particularly the Maldives and the Seychelles, it's more a cultural thing than physical and is quite clear which 'belongs' to which continent if you've ever been there.

Yes the two island nations were trickier since they're both in the Indian Ocean. But Seychelles is so culturally linked to Africa that I guessed it right. And Maldives are very much South Asian. I've never been to either one, but I have general knowledge about them.

Panama was an easy one to get wrong (I did) - tbf, it straddles both north and south. TIL Maldives is actually Asian... 23/25

18/25 turns out I don't know the difference between South America and North America.

I can understand why Australia wasn't included in the quiz since they would have to add a "Does not exist" option

Felt odd to focus so hard on the Americas. But a fun little quiz nonetheless, and no mistakes despite what other commenters are saying.

Islands are definitely the trickiest bits. It seems that everything that's not part of the main South American chunk, from Colombia down, is considered North America. I was certainly brought up to consider Belize, Honduras, Nicaragua etc as Central.

Saudi Arabia, which borders Egypt, is in North Africa. Further, many of these answers are either misleading or just plain wrong. Did you know there are other continents besides these four?

"Saudi Arabia, which borders Egypt, is in North Africa." Umm, no, the entire Arabian Peninsula is considered to be a part of West Asia (what used to be called "the Middle East"). And, Egypt doesn't have a land border with Saudi Arabia -- the bottom end of Israel gets in the way.
