Student Befriends Squirrels On Campus And Dresses Them In Cute Costumes
Mary Krupa has made a name for herself at Penn State as the “Squirrel Whisperer.” Krupa, who will be entering her Senior year this fall, realized that certain squirrels permitted her to feed and pet them when she first came to the university. She did what any logical person would do in this situation: Krupa began to dress the squirrels in paper hats.
“I’m a huge animal-lover,” Krupa says in a YouTube interview “…when I saw that the squirrels here are really so friendly to let you touch them, I figured, hm, well if the squirrel lets me touch it, maybe I can put a little hat on it.”
“Sneezy” the squirrel is actually four different female Eastern gray squirrels. “Whenever I find one that’s willing to cooperate and it lets me take pictures, then that one is basically Sneezy for the day,” says Krupa.

Share on FacebookThese pictures are hilarious! The squirrels on my campus aren't nearly as well dressed as these ones.
Amazing how this person connects with these squirrels long enough to dress them up and get a photo! Squirrel whisperer!!!!
I mess with squirrels (average 6 at meal time) enough to know that this woman knows her stuff. PLEASE write a book.
Hello People!!! Many of the "props" are obviously photo-shopped in.... My God! Do you actually believe the squirrels posed with a toy saxophone, a painter's color palate, or a tea cup? If you do, we really ARE doomed...... Is this what they now teach in your "safe spaces"???????
LMAO! This is great! I hope she is going to school for something that is animal related!
Somehow the squirrels' expressions and poses are perfect for the hat/setting she's given them *_*
this is super cute, and i love squirrels too, but please remember if you truly love wildlife, you do NOT feed and handle them! the next person those squirrels approach (because they are so comfortable and unafraid and expecting food) may not be so nice to them!!!
oh my gosh, they are so CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!! How do you even get them dressed up?
This is so good! I'm out of adjectives to describe how impressive this is!!
I am sorry but this should NOT be shared or give people the impression that this is a good idea! Wild animals should not be imprinted which mak s them vulnerable to predators and/or cruel behavior of humans. I wish you would take this down as to not promote this kind of behavior. You can love animals from afar, this is not a good idea if you care about them.
You've never been to Penn State. The squirrels there are not afraid of people, and they always practically beg for snacks/food, going so far as to follow people halfway across campus in hopes of a treat. They do take care of the squirrels and protect them as much as possible. The squirrels also happen to be rather fond of humans.

The Mona Squirrel just about made me laugh the hardest I've laughed at anything on line. I've got to wonder if any of the fashion designs and furniture construction added to her GPA in any way. I positively love every one of these pictures and send a big high five to the young woman who did it all! My little dog, who loves to hunt squirrels, wants to know why his squirrels aren't this fashionable! lol
Lmfao this is so random! "They let me pet them... so I dressed them up and took pictures" xD
i do believe these sqirrels are dead and stuffed. i mean come on, you can't tame a squirrel enough for it to ever hold a sign, wear a sombrero or a leaf hat.
Why do humans feel the need to dress animals up?? How would we feel if animals forced us to put fur on?
They're obviously alive. You can see the life in their cute little eyes and the fur looks healthy and shiny, unlike a dead one's would.
