People Shame 31 Jerks Who Are Making The Coronavirus Crisis More Difficult For All Of Us (New Pics)
Bulk-buying hand sanitizer or hoarding rice may not look like a big deal for some. But it adds to the shortage of supplies depriving those really in need and making the matters worse. Plus, it’s been proven to earn one a badge of dishonor: the title "corona jerk."
Now that the real threat of the virus is well under way, corona jerks are getting more desperate in making plain bad decisions. From licking a toilet seat for the "coronavirus challenge" to smearing saliva on the handrails in the train, every corona criminal will face a trial by the internet police.
So let’s go through some teeth-clenching cases together, but beware of contraindications—some of that dumb behavior will make your blood boil. After you’re done, there’s another batch of corona jerks from Bored Panda’s previous compilation here.

Stop Making A Hard Situation Worse
Today I went shopping to pick up some food and toilet paper because we are actually running out and need some. I am in my 30s, have the internet and options to adapt in this situation...
I saw this fb post and it broke my heart. Hoarding is not the solution and we need to be mindful of others. We are all in this together!
That is so very heartbreaking and sad, just think there are thousands and thousands of people in a similar situation. Please people STOP and think of others as well.
Congratulations, You Karen'd Yourself
This Isn't Right
Today I went grocery shopping, and saw this elderly man, probably at least 84 years old, with an empty trolley staring at empty shelves of bread. My heart broke. I had gotten the last two hot dog bun packs and gave him one out of my trolley, I said “At least it’s still bread” and he laughed and thanked me (I felt that was the least I could have done for him) If you see an old person, please stop and ask if they need anything. Stop and give them something from your trolley that is no longer on the shelves that you could easily come back and get tomorrow. Who knows where they came from or how long it took them to get to the shops, only to get there and find empty shelves. In a time of complete and utter maddens and chaos, please don’t forget to look out for each other and look out for those who need it most. Check up on your elderly neighbour or friend or elderly stranger on the street. Don’t be consumed by greed. Love thy neighbour.
Panic buying amid the coronavirus outbreak has been spotted in numerous places around the globe.
Paul Marsden, a consumer psychologist at the University of the Arts London, believes that such behavior is linked to our currently unstable emotional state. “It’s about ‘taking back control’ in a world where you feel out of control, and it plays to our fundamental psychology needs.” Plus, if everyone around is stockpiling, you get the signal that it’s the right thing to do.
Dmitrios Tsivrikos, a lecturer in business psychology at University College London, believes that the toilet paper has become an icon of mass panic. The fact that COVID-19 is such a novel virus we know so little about adds to the fear and fuels irrational behavior.
Coronavirus Panic-Buying Reaches A New Low: Blind Shopper Says Customers Steal Toilet Paper From Her Trolley As She Walks Around Supermarkets With Her Guide Dog
I had to help an elderly woman in Meijer yesterday that had her toilet paper stolen out of her buggy. I went over to the guy that took it and took it out of his cart and stared him dead in the eyes the entire time. Then I walked back to her and escorted her to the front to pay. It was awful. Would he want someone doing that to his grandmother?
To Prevent The Coronavirus
South Korean church sprayed salt water inside followers' mouths, believing it would prevent coronavirus. 46 people got infected because they used the same nozzle
Or thoughts and prayers will stop school shootings.
Load More Replies...My aunt and uncle's church is still having people drink wine off of the same spoon because the wine is holy and therefore it can't get anyone sick. Logic.
But what about the saliva that sticks to the spoon? Even if the wine was holy and clean, there's still be saliva!
Load More Replies...I worry about this sort of thing when I see new reporters sticking the same mic in various interviewee's faces...hopefully they sanitize after each person but you have to count on the diligence of the individual for that... 🤞🏻
Although, it is a good idea to gargle with salt water -- in your own home, clean glass, not sharing, obviously -- before you go to bed. It kills the germs in your mouth. You breathe in a lot of junk when you sleep!
Oh, please provide us with the science as to how this will help with a virus.

I Think He Got Enough
He might be restocking a shop for all you know. My local store owner got screamed at for having a van full of toilet rolls the other day, turns out he’d just been to the cash and carry to restock his own store shelves. Of course the owner of this van might be a hoarding a-hole but let’s be careful of condemning everyone with a van full of tissues just in case they have good intentions.
I Dont Know Why Corona Virus Means Take All The Toilet Paper. Its Not Even In My County Or Any Surrounding Me. I Had To Buy Paper Towels And Cut Them In Half Like A Peasant
Don't flush those through the toilet!! Paper towels do not disintegrate like toilet paper and will clog your pipes in no time.
Toilet Paper Roll Selling For $100 On Craigslist As People Capitalize On Covid-19 Fears
I truly hope no one actually buys these from those tossers who are taking advantage of people. I am truly disgusted by what is happening.

If it’s the end of the world it’s the end of human kind so the toilet paper is the least of your worries.
I Want To Punch Him (Today At Walmart)
Nope, just take a packet out with a polite tho somewhat absent minded, "oh thanks so much" as if he's a restocker. 95% chance he's confused, mumbles "you're welcome"; in the US the other 5% he shoots you dead. Your mileage may vary...
This Woman, Hoarding All The Wet-Wipes At The Local Costco
Let's not all jump on the condemnation train. 1. When was this picture taken? 2. Is she a store owner? 3. Is she buying for a school district/clinic/senior housing/or anywhere they need to disinfect? These are just a few thoughts off the top of my head. Yes, she might be a c u next Tuesday. But the fact of the matter is, we don't know.
It’s Jerks Like This That Makes Matters Worse
$110 for the whole lot. Sold! LOL. Then I'll go give them out to the elderly. Jacka$$.
This Person Bought Out Pretty Much The Rest Of Our Stock Of Toilet Paper And Paper Towels Yesterday
Well, why did you let them? In many places stores enforce a 2-3 items per person policy.
Coronavirus Panic
I actually wonder if this is because of the Coronavirus. When I worked at a supermarket we had a couple of people coming in a few times a week getting a s**t load of milk. One of them owned a cafe and the other owned a Wendy’s franchise and they bought their milk from the supermarket coz it worked out cheaper for them than ordering it from elsewhere. My point is this person could be buying them for their business and not actually being a selfish person.

Clearwater Beach Packed Amid 'Social Distancing' For Coronavirus
I look at it this way..the people that are ignoring it are all the ones that will be fighting for their lives while medical personnel shake their heads because not enough ventilators are available for this kind of pandemic. Maybe this is the wake up call to get the ignorant and privileged to start realizing they can't do whatever the heck they want. And any of them that were on this beach that later cause an outbreak resulting in deaths should be charged with assault and manslaughter for ignoring officials.
'Ain't That Serious': Miami Spring Breakers Party On
I honestly don't care what happens to the people who ignore warnings, but it's the fact that they become carriers and infect innocent people is the thing that sucks so bad. This group is also in the age range where they will most likely be fine. :/

Looks like a lot of food for kids. Some of these parents are now having to feed kids that normally ate lunch and breakfast at school.
Jerks All Around!
Are You Kidding Me?
Still don't understand the obsessive need for toilet paper. Only 2-4% of sick people get diarrhea and the chances of getting sick are very low, too, so the chance of anyone needing this is close to zero. And even if you do need it, you don't get sick for SIX MONTHS...
There was an article claiming there would be a shortage of TP as China had switched production to face masks. So some people panic-bought as much TP as possible. Others saw and copied as that's what people do... fear that people know something that they don't. Soon after the first article other TP manufacturers outside of China were saying that there wasn't going to be a shortage, no need to worry, but it didn't get enough coverage. Then the panic spread to other goods once quarantine was mentioned and it was a downward slope from there.

There's no shortage of toiletpaper and handsanitizer in my country, Alll the fools thinking they would make some serious money are crying now. TAKE THE PLEDGE: My name is John Louis. I live east of Cincinnati. I will NOT give in to fear and hysteria. I will buy the items I need when I need them! The other day I needed milk on Monday and had to wait until Tuesday to get it. The Horror!
I am Jozee Mom. I have a lot because I buy when on sale. As always, I share with neighbors and friends who run out. Amen.
Load More Replies...No where in my area can you find toilet paper, paper towels, wipes or any essential products even tampons. I have searched a few sites to see these crazy prices. While I am sure these sites dont currently have the man power to stop all of the price gouging, so I have reported anyone that I have come across to help them out, so far I have seen those removed. I dont feel bad at all, there are people doing without so others can make a quick buck on a crisis.
What I don't get is - why do shops allow this? I was grocery shopping today, and there were labels by the more popular items saying that you could only buy x amount of this item per person. Miraculously, I was able to find absolutely everything I had on my list except for cream and milk (there was toilet paper!). And if I'd been desperate I could just have taken the more expensive brands, or come back tomorrow. I'm actually really pleased with how it's being handled in my area. Restaurants, clubs, swimming pools and a lot of stores deemed "non-essential" are closed as off today, while a pretty broad definition of "essential" stores (supermarkets, apothecaries, drug stores, construction stores...) are getting extended opening times - so the people getting their everyday items can spread out more.
Load More Replies...How often are these people taking a s**t that they need all that TP? Meanwhile, cold and flu medicine at CVS was fully stocked and TP is gone? WFT? Besides, supply chain isnt being disrupted. Stores are getting all that stuff back in stock. Now all those idiots have all that TP and nobody else needs it.
It's times like this that let us know who the real monsters are. Those selling online for huge profit at the criminals. People in stores with lot of product in cart just may be shopping for neighbors, their own businesses or similar. AND we don't know when photos were taken. Could be before pandemic. Any photo have date on them that we can prove is real and not photoshop?
So grateful for neighbors. One couple called from the market and picked up some things we needed, plus tulips. I called another neighbor who happened to be marketing. We'll get through this.
Human ignorance and selfishness is the virus, not COVID-19. We are making it much worse than it really is.
Why aren't stores putting limits on these purchases (toilet paper, hand sanitizer, etc.). At my local grocery they have. They are also only allowing a certain number of people in at a time. One entrance is closed and there's an armed guard at the other. (San Diego, CA)
I work for a Dutch grocery chain: the distribution centers are still literally stuff with supplies. Also, even our suppliers still have abundant stock.
There is a special place in hell for those people. Check with elderly relatives and neighbors to see if they need help. Be the good in this world.
Can someone tell me why people hoard toilet paper in times like this? I kept thinking about it and it doesn't make sense at all. In the event, where there is no water, what for you need large amount of toilet paper for? You can't even eat them.
I'm seeing a lot of people saying we should not assume mal-intent with people buying lots of things, cause they may be buying things for their store. Even if that is the case, a few thoughts. One, how much of this do you really need if you're not going to be seeing many customers cause everyone is locked in? Two, the folks who buy at whole sale stores so they can take it back to their bodega and resell it are also price gouging. It's just that they do that low key every day so no one thinks twice. These folks buy a gallon of milk for $2.50 and resell it for $5 on the daily, gouging poor folks who can only get to the local store. I don't think we need to make excuses for them
