Couple Freaks Out After Realizing Someone Follows Them Around The World Just To Copy Their Travel Photos
When we talk about Instagram followers, we don't mean it in the literal sense. Well, not usually anyway. But as Instagram-famous travel photographers Jack Morris and Lauren Bullen have recently discovered, two of their collective 2 million plus followers are quite literally chasing them around the world and recreating their poses wherever they go.
Not only do this mysterious couple pose in the same locations as Jack and Lauren; they also copy their composition, their clothing, and sometimes even their captions! It's one thing to be inspired, but these guys are taking it to a whole new level. "Having a large instagram following does come with some interesting experiences," wrote Lauren in an article on her blog recently. "But this has been by far the most odd one yet."

They should know that Greece is not the home of pizza and ice cream. Just saying.
Beautiful setting but that outfit is absolutely inappropriate for visiting a medersa
I don't understand the appeal of self-induced wedgies. Beautiful setting, though.
Someone has been having a lot of work, while having fun. As for the photos themselves, they are incredibly cliché. Don´t take me wrong, but all of them look incredibly planed
At first, I thought like Caitlyn McCracken the "followers" make fun of the originals, like a real life parody. But then, this must take so much dedication and effort. Thinking how social media works nowadayys, I am wondering if they probably know each other and this is a deliberate coup.
I think this is a hoax. I believe the original posters are completely in on this, to generate gossip, drama and hype surrounding their instagram account in order to get more attention and followers.
This is a falsified viral story designed to drive publicity and traffic to the copied Instagram account. This is clearly faked for the purpose of going viral. Tgere is no "trolling couple," there is only a staged viral project. I hate seeing faked stories presented as fact.
I don't understand how the copy cat manages to get the exact view of the location...exact angle...exact dress....... That takes a lot of hard work..do they original and the copy go shopping together????????
That would drive me absolutly NUTS!! But also flattered that my antics are worth such the effort to recreate!!
That is creeping me out. The second couple: you are either extremely creative or extremely jealous. Having such "followers" would probably freak me out so much, that I stopped posting anything.
If this was in a gallery or a contemporary art museum I would pay top dollar for it. If they published a book, heck, I would buy it. I think the ones reproducing the pictures are really geniuses, and they sparked the right reaction. Now the ones being copied are part of their performance. Much food for thought, instigating, great art.
It's so funny that except for maybe 1 or 2, all of the copycats photos look better, haha
Do they pay the other tourists to stay out of the photos or how is it done? Whenever I go to popular places as these, there are a billion other tourists walking into my pictures..
Maybe she wants to show that no matter the content (in this case it is almost the same) it is important WHO posted it. For example, number of likes, shares, comments or any other media interaction will vary depending on the fact if person is famous or not. For the same picture, or even worse quality, famous people will get plenty of likes and other feedback, while on the other hand, "normal" people won't. I see different relations of power (social discourse) going on here and she just might have proved it with this copy-cat experiment/example.
that was HILARIOUS :-D the detail in the copy's is just to perfect. this is some grade A trolling. it's uncanny !
damn... someone must have a shitload of money to copy someone just for the fun.
Troll level: 47 I like it. They shoulg go to more expencive places so trolls spend all their money, problem solved 😂😂😂😂😂
The people look in 2nd photo look like they have been photoshopped in their pictures... I highly doubt they are "following" them other then on Instagram and through their creative sources.
Thinking the copy couple have used Photoshop to do these. Much more easy to explain.
This is just a gimmick to gain spotlight. The supposed original have a hundred thousand followers when they planned the gimmick now she has millions and she is said to be earning by post now. The supposed copy instagram is their creation with their traveling buddy/friend on it (without a clear facial or close up photo and got deactivated when they got the attention needed). I am not claiming my story to be true coz I read it somewhere but I spent most of my online time googling and researching so when i read that blog about their gimmick so I did some googling and reading and seems like she and her boyfriend got the perfect gimmick but poor those rich friends of theirs who got used who are not as social media attention seeking couple :)
hoax baby!they are in this together as in the OGs and the copycats
i agree that it's creepy but it is in no way stalker-ish considering they're posting those photos on social media for the whole world to see.......
Copying is a form of flattery. I think it's awesome. If they can afford to travel to those wonderful places too, good for them. What's the harm in having a little fun copying when the original travelers have already come and gone?
Just because it ia on the internet, doesn't mean you have to believe it.
I think this is fake. These are two couples traveling together. In the fifth photo the pillows are arranged exactly the same.
As the saying goes : 'There is no better form of flattery than imitation." It is creepy though.
I think the photos were taken by the same photographer... they have the same light, colors, positions etc.
Fancy going to all those stunning locations and spending time perfecting copycat shots instead of enjoying where they are.
it's simple, they are all friends and they travell together and their gilrs put the pictures on instagram
When I think of first-world problems, I'll forever think of this story.
I'm puzzled as to why someone would travel round after you, recreating your very moves, same gear etc. More odd than creepy methinks!
I noticed that the women on the right got a really, really nice tan over the course of the trip;)
Is it just me, or I think diana_alexa is way sexier than gypsea_lust... just sayin
Go some where and make a difference to the place or the people...... not just in the pool with ya bum out. Sad sad sad 21st century society.
People constantly post all kinds of personal things online then get pissed off when something like this happens. Chill, it's the Internet
The other couple is probably traveling the world and whenever they reach a cool place they search for peoples photos to see which ones they like and copy them by chance they probably copied this couples photos because they went to a lot of similar places, i bet the other couple has other peoples photos aswell.
Travelling is for C***S All the money wasted doing this could've saved thousand of kids lives and not dumped tons of carbon into the atmosphere.
