Hey Pandas, What Piece(S) Of Clothing Make You Feel The Most Uncomfortable/Dysphoric Either For Body Standards Or Gender Reasons?
I’ve dealt with body shaming my entire life. School dress codes made me ashamed of my body, so, almost twenty years after graduating from high school, I still follow the high school dress code almost to a T. No shorts, no midriffs exposed, no shoulders exposed, no cleavage. Nothing form fitting, no dresses. My makeup is very minimal because we were sexualized by teachers and administrators, and I still remember the leering of my 70+ year old Japanese language teacher. Essentially, I dress like a genderless amorphous blob due to being made to feel so self conscious about myself in my formative years.Hey, My Fellow Amazing Pandas! What Feels Like Home To You?
This is gonna sound a bit strange and nerdy, but it’s because of my multiple mental health issues and disability’s, and I accept that no one is going to completely understand. For me, home is being in the mountains with no one around, and walking on the beach after dark. the smell of trees in meadows in fall, being in the forest at dusk. Snuggled in with all the dogs in the house during holidays. That one time an owl landed on me (real story) All these little times where I feel like a part of nature, of something bigger than me, like I could just sink in to the floor and stay there forever. When I was little I used to sit in the forest so much that a few of the deer decided I wasn’t a threat and would sort of just hang out 15 feet from me. Plants and animals have always been their for me, and understood me, even when no one else was. Please excuse me waxing philisophical, as I’ve been awake for 18 hours now,Show All 11 Upvotes

For me, it’s either tank tops or bathing suits. I’ve done dance my whole life (since I could walk) and from when I was 9 to when I was 14 I refused to wear the proper tank top leotard because of societal standards on armpit hair. Bathing suits have the same PLUS they are very gendered, and as an AFAB person who does not present as female, it is hard to find ones that are *ahem* legal, and comfortable for me gender-wise.Hey Pandas, What Piece(S) Of Clothing Make You Feel The Most Uncomfortable/Dysphoric Either For Body Standards Or Gender Reasons?

People in generalHey Pandas, What’s Your Biggest Annoyance/Pet Peeve When It Comes To Dealing With Coworkers/Classmates
Mine is people who drive you absolutely bananas and are convinced you are friends with them even after you and others you are close to have clearly stated nicely (and later not so nicely) that you would prefer to be left alone. Grand Admiral Thrawn • is following a person
