In medical school. I started 4 weeks later than everyone else. Came into the classroom and wanted to introduce myself to the teacher. She interrupts me "Because you will fail my class, I don´t want to know your name." never seen her before, never talked before. 3 years later at my exam, my boss made sure that this woman wasn’t allowed to judge me on my exam, nor was she allowed to test me. An examiner had to come because this teacher sat on the board of examiners. Otherwise I would have failed it ... for sure

This Phobia isn´t about that Darkness. And also not about Nightdarkness. It´s about a darkness which can be pitch black, wehre you can´t see anything. When you can´t see your own hand before you face. As long as I can see something clearly, it´s fine and nights can be beautiful.

I live for the dark and the cold. It's said that people hide in the dark and the shadows but I find that when I cross paths with anyone at night, I meet they're more genuine self. Besides, the Marine Corps always told me that the scariest thing in the dark is me 😉😆

Achluophobia or Nyktophobia is the fear of darkness. As long as I can clearly see everything I´m fine. But when it´s so dark somewhere that I began to have problems with my sight I started to feel anxious and I´m in need for light.
