Not the most disturbing, but the car scene in Hereditary shocked the absolute s**t out of me more than any other horror scene. I’ve watched a lot of horror movies.bokin8:
It was so unexpected in that moment of the movie for some reason that's why it was so shocking too. That one is really burned into my brain.

Hereditary stayed with me. It's a long, slow burn until it hits you again, and again. I've watched a whole bunch of "deep dive" video essays to try and work through it, but the effects remain, like a spot on my soul

Hey Pandas What Should We Never Have Invented?
Online video conferencing. Kids don't get real holidays now, if it is rainy day or snow, they have to attend class on a screen. Even little kids who should get the joy of being free. And dont get me to talk about the office meetings. I just keep looking at the clock during them waiting for it to be over. I just lie down in dark and hear radiohead's music. Nothing hits harder than that.Hey Pandas, What's Your Favorite Technology-Related Advancement That Serves No Real Purpose?
It's not a huge technological breakthrough, but when my Washer or Dryer are done, they play a happy little tune. It makes me smile.Hey Pandas, What Are Some Song Lyrics That Impacted You And Why?
Once I was seven years old My mama told me go and make yourself some friends or you’ll be lonely Once I was seven years old… (Blah blah blah) Soon I’ll be sixty years old… Seven Years by Lukas Graham really hits hard cuz I hate being mortal tbh. I hate that everyone I know will die one day and I hate that I’ll never be seven years old again. Also Past Lives by Borns, as well as the Martin Arteta cover. It’s really eerie, but also gives me the same feeling as Seven Years.Show All 8 Upvotes

That was just such a devastating movie. Must’ve seen it about 20 years ago and I still think about it often. It still gives me goosebumps.

Requiem for a Dream it's not a horror movie but definitely one of the most disturbing movies I've watched.conn_r2112:
I remember watching it when I was younger, and at a certain point I legit had to pause the movie and go outside just to hear some birds chirp and see some sunshine.
