I don’t mind rats at all. I love them. We have loads round here but the cats only try to get the babies. We have a derelict wash kitchen at the side of the house and years ago when I was still at high school I’d grab a handful of hamster food and throw it into the wash kitchen. And they are so much more clean than people think and very intelligent.

I've kept pet rats my whole adult life. They're such lovely little animals. So sweet and intelligent, and really affectionate. Every night they come up to the top of the cage, asking for snuggles. <3

Hilarious. All animals poop, but then some are full of s**t, like you. Of course, you are entitled to your own opinion, but keep it to yourself if it’s offensive, especially on posts like these. I’m sure you’ll be happy to know that rats can be litter trained just as cats do, and only go in their cage even if they aren’t trained to go in one specific corner.
