Hey Pandas, What Is Your Go-To Ghost Story?
I once lived with an entity that absolutely tortured me. I had never really experienced ghostly encounters or felt I was sensitive to spirits until I was 15. I was in a car accident that killed the other people and 6 months later my cousin, more like my twin, had died. My family and I were devastated. Suddenly the house in which we grew up that was once my favorite place in the world became evil. This thing fed off our grief and fear. The first night something came in the bedroom with me, sat on the bed and walked out. The doors would slam shut. You could feel these things stare at you with such hate. See shadows walking around you at night. Covers being held down hard enough to see on the mattress. obviously it became unbearable. I started to sleep on an old army cot by the fireplace in the living room because after only one month of my cousin being dead not even the dog would go near his room. I've had doors slammed, knocks or scratches on the walls and ceilings. Things thrown, lights turned on and off, and horrific nightmares. It would get so bad the only thing me or anyone with brave enough to stay could to do was pray. I once got my nerves up wanting to sleep in the bed. That night something punched me through the bed so hard I came off the bed. I never went back in the room. By this point my family had broken apart and I was almost homeless because of how bad these entities toyed with us. The last time I went in the house alone was the scariest. I was alone needing the tanning bed. Took all the nerve I had because I could feel that something was going wrong. I started my playlist that I've played for 10 years. First song played without a problem and next was "the End" by the Doors. Nothing. I started getting nervous and so did the dog. After a minute or two I was so scared I opened the tanning bed and put my foot on the floor to stand up. Soon as my toes touched the floor "this is the end. my only friend, the end" skipping the one minute intro of instruments. I knew whatever was there was going to end up killing me or make me commit suicide. It targeted me because the deaths had left my mind and soul vulnerable. I'm almost too nervous to post this afraid that thing will know. Overlook grammer and spelling errors. This is written with PTSD nerves.Hey Pandas, What Is Your Go-To Ghost Story?
I have a few, all happened many years ago. The best (worst) was Everyone in my house was asleep upstairs, my room was in the basement (so many stories in that room like this). I went to feed our cat downstairs and walked by my room. Noticed a cold breeze coming from my window so I shut the window, followed by latching an internal shutter that was over the window. Turned off all my lights in my room and went back upstairs to watch TV. When I returned to my bedroom all my lights were on, shutter wide open, window wide open, closet doors open. We had a tiny house and no way anyone was awake walking around but me. This is one of many stories like that in that bedroom. This one made me wake up my parents, I was young and in high school. Terrifying.Hey Pandas, What Is Something Your Parent Said Or Did That Made You Think "Wow, I Can't Believe I Survived Childhood"
When she was little, my mom split her shoulder open while slipping and accidentally hitting her head very hard on the towel bar of her bathroom when she was 12, she couldn’t speak loud enough because of the pain, and she got her siblings attention by rolling the nearby vacuum on the floor. She had to sit in a dark room for days, to help her head heal, and she had to have treatment for her shoulder during those days.Show All 15 Upvotes
