I'm a chef, dealing with vegetarian (easy) and vegan (not-so-easy) guests. Especially not easy, when you have a vegan guest in a 30-40 tourist group, who paid for a buffet-dish, which as far away from being vegan in an average hotel, as the chances of US, being a real 1st world country. But even so, we always prepare special dishes for our vegan guests. I can say, that 100% of the cases they are grateful for having a full-dish, and not just french-fries or plain rice. Not to speak about special vegan-desserts, what we also make for them. They are paying the same price as the vegetarian or omnivorous guests, they deserve full dishes and desserts. With all of these said, the bride and brother were in this situation huge AH!

Yeah, too much technical details for anybody, who is not a "tech-nerd", but I think, it's still understandable. There was a Very Important Machine in OP's former workplace, which was operated and maintained correctly just by 4 guys in the entire Company (including OP). 2 of the guys left, the 3rd had s.h.itton of other jobs in the Company, so just OP remained. His shift-colleague -Igor- was not a pro, he had the job just because his brother was a boss there, being in good term with other bosses. Igor fckd up a few time the work with the Very Important Machine, trying to blame OP. It went so far, that all the Bosses were bullying him to the point, one them handed him an ultimatum. At this point OP said. F.U.C.K. YOU ALL, A.S.S.HOLES!

No, I didn't notice any strange-moves-in-my-belly. Yes, I gained some weight, but just about 5-6 kg, didn't make me suspicious. Yes, I was on pills. I went to my house-doc with very bad cramps, only to find out, I'm in labor. In hospital, they told me, he -yes, was a boy- was born already dead. But I'm till now not sure, because I remember hearing some weak crying voice. But, maybe, just my imagination played me.

I know somehow the feeling, even not exactly from the perspective of payment, but that of being a woman-in-the-men'-world. Living in a western-european country, there are strict hourly payments laws for different professions, levels of experience and so on. There is a legal minimum, which usually covers a person's necessities with letting him/her even spare. Companies never can go below, but depending of how wanted is your profession, they can "sky-rocketing" with wages. Even there are minimum-maximum stats for single cities calculated in different professions, so everybody can know, how much his/her workforce worth. Is not the issue of being paid less, because you are a woman, because your male colleague with the very same education/experience/position is paid the same. More is to really enter the men' world. I'm a chef. It took me years to get rid of gardemanger position, and to convince my actual kitchen-chef, that although I'm a woman, I have 0 talent in patisserie. Give me meat! :D

Not always. At rush hours, yes, and they are doing it. But when you are shopping at 10 am, when there are very few customers in the shop, it's usually one register open. The staff is filling the shelves, cleaning, preparing for rush hours, having their legal break. If it happens that you end up behind a person with full carriage, it's a misfortune, but you really don't have 2 minutes in plus? Starting a drama takes much more time...
