Hate for Taylor Swift. It’s super trendy to hate on her. But the gal goes up on stage and actually sings and actually plays. That’s already not common in pop music. She writes her own songs; also not common. She has single-handedly gotten girls that cared nothing about football into football. She also single-handedly got young people to register to vote in America. She’s changed the world for the better. I get that people may not like her music, that’s fine. But there are people that straight up hate her simply because it’s trendy. And that’s ignorant.

The fact that many people use credit cards and don't pay their balance in full. It's quite literally the worst way to be 'loaned money' since its often 20%+ interest. Loosing money for no reason. I say this because there are usually ways to get loans 'when life happens' at much lower rates (maybe about 10% ish). Yet, many, many people use this.

I'm from the Netherlands were instead of **you** we have two different words for it. We say "jij" to someone that's younger than you or equal to your age or in informal settings. We say "u" to people that are older and in formal settings. I'm 28 and suddenly younger people in restaurants or stores say "u" to me. That's when I realized I'm getting old.

My town is home to one of the national training sites for guide dogs. Since they only train during the week, they have an option to adopt a guide dog for the weekend so they aren't stuck in a kennel. After you pass their requirements, you go and pick up a dog or puppy, and they stay with you for the weekend. Every weekend it's a different dog. This is so they can work on their social skills, and just be dogs. There are a lot of restrictions as to not compromise their training, but I've had a friend do it and they loved it! I would totally do, but I work during the weekend 😫

I will say what she did, she wrote a book that I have heard in many respects villianized trans women, though I will admit I have not read the book myself, she then, after receiving criticism for it, doubled down and went on to defend herself and other trabsphobes/feminists (you pick) and has continued to advocate for worse treatment of transgender individuals, despite being an advocate for women who suffered abuse and domestic violence, when trans women, especially those of color, are much more likely to experience those types of violence and homelessness. Now, if you still want to, we can have a conversation about it, I'm all ears.
