Such a beautiful dog, who'll now know nothing but love. When you go back to your own country, hopefully Ginger will get to go to and have many more adventures wherever he goes.

I'm glad Ginger's happy now. Sadly, this is an issue pretty much everywhere. My sister recently got a German Shepherd from her SIL that was her former fiance's before he got ill. Learned the hard way that for some unknown reason the fiance had been trying to make him a guard dog by abusing him (hitting and shocks) and keeping him locked in a crate for 4+ months. He's only now starting to adjust and act like a normal dog but understandably doesn't do well with crates and she's worried how he'll handle having kids in the house. I will never understand people who abuse animals.

Wonderful! In fact we knew dziko was also polish later, we chose dziko in the chichewa language that means Wild and Earth. Also Dziko is one of the first dogs we met in Malawi.

I know...it is very bad. Here in zambia they tied one mama with the puppies to be eaten by the baboons. It was horrible. Thank god not all were gone!
