She got into a bad car wreck and changed. Physically she recovered but mentally she was a totally different person. Before the wreck she was committed to her career and wanted a house and a family. After the wreck she became a hippie, experimenting with d***s and travels the country in a van.
Unclear if it was the concussion/brain injury or the PTSD from the whole ordeal.

When I was about 6/7ish i was looking for bugs around my grandparents house, under furniture and what not. I checked under a cupboard in the living room and saw a single eye on a stalk looking back at me (kinda like a snail but not slimy) from behind one of the cupboards rear legs. I thought it must be a toy so I went to the kitchen and asked my gran to give me something to reach it with (it was too far away for me to reach by hand). Armed with a spaghetti server I went back to the cupboard and the eye was still there, I reached to get it... And it disappeared. my grandad then moved the cupboard and we could find no evidence of anything hiding behind it. I ended up writing up notes and drawing pictures in a journal which I still have somewhere. For some reason this mystery as stuck with me ever since and I have no idea what it could be. Overactive imagination?anon reply
My best friend once went to the store with a $20 bill to get a 2L bottle of pop and was worried she wouldn't have enough. I had to show her how to use my toaster (its a regular toaster where you push down), and she had never had mac and cheese before in her life. Once, I had corndogs in my freezer and she wanted one, so I told her could make one. She ended up having to get me to put it in the microwave for her because she had no idea what to do.Someone Asks What The Scariest Thing Science Has Proven To Be Real Is, And People Deliver 30 Of The Most Chilling Answers

As a teacher, I see this literally every day. But I currently have a student who is the sweetest kid ever, but her dad is ... not. He’s abusive, always angry, and she is never good enough. He openly admits that he wants her to do well in school so she can pay to support him cause “that’s what kids do”. There’s currently an investigation going on with an armed robbery that he was involved with. I’m currently waiting with all the adoption paperwork ready to go since she has no other family if he goes to prison for 30+ years, which is likely. I’m going to do everything in my power to make sure she doesn’t go into foster care.bondsman333 reply
