Briar Lee Mitchell is an accomplished artist and writer, with 20 published novels (Permuted Press) and paintings that have been exhibited in The Smithsonian, the US National Archives and The Pentagon. She has also worked for Warner Bros., Disney, Universal, the FBI, and Johns Hopkins among others. While researching her projects for painting or writing, Briar has been able to travel to some unique places in the world like McMurdo Base in the Antarctic, the Palau Islands, Korea, and Guam. Her pastimes have included swimming with sharks near San Francisco and also Florida, and, she spent 10 years working with her dogs, helping law enforcement find missing people.
