McDonald's Customers Are Sharing How They Hacked The Menu In 30 Pics

When I worked at McDonald's mid-90's, they had a dessert feature called Apple Pie ala Mode and it was an apple pie on a plate, between two ice cream swirls and all covered in caramel sauce. It was pretty popular. I don't know why they got rid of it.

I worked at McDonald's in the mid 90's when they used to serve pizza. Three jackasses from my high school came through the drive-thru one evening and claimed that they ordered 4 pizzas on the way to a funeral and only got two. And guess what? The "customer is always right" (such a BS phrase) and those guys got their two pizzas.

Just this past summer, I emailed a high school teacher I had 22 years ago to let her know the lasting impact that she had on me when I dropped her course. At the time, she told me I was a strong writer and hoped that I'd pick it up again. In fact, this past winter, I did and have been working towards a creative writing certificate. She was blown away and did remember me, even though it felt I was only in her class for just a few weeks. Initially, I felt a bit silly for reaching out but realized that people deserve to know their words and actions matter. If someone has made a difference in your life, let them know!

My family and I grunt when we hug. Do others do this? It started when I was really young, about 4 years old. My Dad asked for a hug. I did and he said, "Hug me like you mean it!" and so I did – naturally with a grunting noise. It became a thing and even though my Dad has been gone for 15 years now, my mother sister and I, even when we lightly touch cheeks, it's often with an audible "Argh!"
