I never really felt "under-represented" or not fitting in because of my disability (I have a stoma/colostomy bag) but when they added a character on Coronation Street with an ostomy bag recently I was SO excited 🤣 it made me realize how special it feels to be represented in any small way! In the end, he chose my husband and I to donate his truck to. 8 years later we are still driving it, and still grateful. There ARE generous people out there, and while we didn't ask for a vehicle, it came at exactly the right time!

Oh boy I'm sorry about your dog, but what kind of dog owners don't immediately freak out and offer to pay for damages? My dog got loose at the vets office, and in her panic to escape, ran over a little dog and broke his leg. I wasn't even there and I offered to pay this lady's vet bill! But the vet said it was his fault for taking my dog off leash in the office when he knew she was nervous, so they weren't going to charge this other lady anything.

I wonder what company, because the same thing happened to me. Fired on my wedding day after working for the company for three years. However, here's the kicker. I was given two weeks notice that my job was ending...and I had been given two weeks off for my honeymoon after my wedding. I think my boss was just being spiteful because I didn't invite him to my wedding! And the icing on the wedding cake? Turned out he had been stealing from me the whole time I worked for him. Lesson learned - read your pay stubs carefully!
