Wanted to add: I keep plenty of pencils in my sub bag. I never ask for them back cause another teacher might lose their cool over something this minor! The older kids know better. I was a dirt poor country kid, but still had school supplies. I'm talking about those who would rather buy designer clothes and shoes over basic school supplies.

I might be insane, but they are some of my favorite! Seventh grade is awful, rude, acting like wild animals! At least in the higher up grades (in my area), they have good manners, listen, and get their work done overall. There are a few that don't care, but it's their future not mine!
