Please don't just put up one picture and judge a nation and it's people by it. Yes the current regime is fairly awful but why do you imagine the revolution happened in the first place? Mainly because as usual the then powers that be US and UK wanted control of their oil and helped the shah of Iran stage a coup against a democratically elected PM because he nationalised the nations oil so that the country would benefit rather than foreigners.
