Hey Pandas- What Is Something You Are Scared Of Even Though People Have Told You Not To Be?
I don’t know if this counts but I’m terrified I’m not good enough at my job. I’m a mental health nurse and I’ve been told by many other health professionals and patients that I’m very good at what I do, but I’m crippled with the fear that I’m letting everyone down. I’ve convinced myself that I’ve managed to somehow blag my way through. I have had some issues with my stomach and went to the doctor after about a week. I've been through many different doctors and procedures and found out I have Chron disease. It's not uncommon, but it's not very common either. 396 out of 100,000 annually. I know there's medicine and if I watch myself I can live a "normal" life- but I'm terrified. I'm terrified that I'll look like a freak with special needs. I am terrified of it.

(Something you should know: I'm really short.) One summer a couple years ago I was talking to my little cousin at a family reunion. (At the time she was 5.) I asked her what grade she was going into and she said "I'm gonna be in 1st grade!" very proudly. I smiled and she asked me, "What about you?" I told her and she stopped smiling. "There's NO WAY you can be in that grade. You're so small." That hurt.
