Australian here! For me it’s the wildlife, specifically flora. So much of it is unique to Aus and surrounding countries and barely any of it gets recognition compared to the animals. Every single plant here has a use, whether it be a Blackwood Wattle that is traditionally used by Indigenous peoples as soap and fish poison or a Cassinia plant that traditionally treats toothache and tastes like curry leaves. In the 1980s and 90s I was an x-ray supervisor at Portsmouth Naval Hospital. One of our radiologist decided to do a study on Defocography. That is the study of how people defecate. There was a special paste that you were essentially inserted into the persons r****m through a tube. And then as the person expelled the waist you would take fluoroscopic imaging of it. It was the highlight of my life to a Navy Seal that I had to stick this up his biut and fill his colon so I could videotape it.

One of my students committed suicide in May 2020 because his treatment was abruptly halted because of Covid and he couldn't cope on his own. An old Karen commented that it was this young guy's fault anyway because Covid was exclusively caused by young people partying, so nobody should feel sorry for him. I didn't just block her, I reported her.

My husband and youngest son don't respect me. They planned a trip to Michigan to see our son and grandkids. My husband told me I couldn't go . I was very hurt and angry in fact I still am. Then they come back and my husband is bragging about what they did. My husband puts everything back on me. I just don't know what to do anymore. We have been married for 45 years. I was forced to move back home with my parents in order to maintain custody of my daughter. Long story that involves Florida’s backwards laws for LGBT parents. The cost of living in SWFL is insane. Think $2500 a month for a one bedroom apartments. So, my baby and I are trapped in my childhood bedroom. We have little to no space and no independence.
