This is exploitation at all. Lots of people have and take baby pictures. Also it's a baby, it can not consent, so it's up to the parents to decide if it's ok or not. Plus the child is obviously comfortable with it and the mother was probably doing these shoots anyway and just wanted some pictures of her baby. I see this as beautiful, yes I'd never do it but I'm also not good with a camera.

These look like adorable newborn photoshoots? The baby is obviously calm and comfortable. Some of y’all need to go outside and touch grass. Alternatively, you could go advocate for all the children in the world who are *actually* exploited.

I don’t know, it feels a bit extreme to say it’s exploitation of her child, it sounds like she was photographing these scenes anyway (above it says the mother is a professional photographer) and people have these shots of their babies all of the time. It’s not quite the same league as those families who make videos of their children in distressing circumstances for entertainment.
