Also, the silent treatment. Sometimes I argue with my mom and she snaps back asking why I'm arguing. At times she refuses to accept that I'm a separate human being capable of anger and having my own opinions. If that's the case she just stops talking to me so that I feel obliged to apologise even if it's not my fault.

Parents who press their personal beliefs and practices upon their children. Maybe your daughter doesn't want to wear dresses all the time. So what? Maybe your son doesn't want to be the doctor that you weren't able to be. Okay... So? For example, my parents are very religious and everything would be about religion and honoring God; yet, the ironic thing is, that my parents are extremely abusive- physically, verbally, mentally, and emotionally. Don't force beliefs upon your children. Widen their perspective. Show them what's out there. And let them make their own decisions. Don't yell at them or hurt them if they're not doing it *your* way.

I wrote something I thought was witty, but then deleted it because I figured at least one person would be offended. The comment I wrote was about myself and it has gotten me in trouble before with medical staff. You'll figure it out.

Are you kidding me? My bun bun would wait until I had to go upstairs or something and he could run past he baby gate in the flash of an eye. Then he would run back and forth down the length of the hall (the length of the house), at top speed, turning on a dime (upstairs had carpet). Funniest thing ever!

My mom says that I'm dead inside from my meds. I look at it this way, the part that helps my anxiety makes me not care. About pretty much anything except for my doggos. The part that helps with depression, just makes me numb. I feel no sorry but I feel no joy either. Everything is just meh.

Start an herb garden. It's very easy. Some herbs you can start right from seed directly in the ground (cilantro and dill are like that - lettuce as well!). I just recommend a raised bed because bunnies. You get fresh herbs all spring/summer and into fall. I grow oregano, basil, flat leaf parsley, dill, cilantro, chives, scallions, lemon mint, peppermint and rosemary.
